Very good
This was a really good book, well written, and very interesting. I have come to really enjoy alien books, I love the imagination one must have to write them. I think the book must be well written for it to work though, and this is definitely well written. This is one to buy.

Simple and sophomoric
This was an alien story that the writing was simple and sophomoric. The story had no emotion or chemistry to make this a believable romance. The female lead character accepted everything without shock or questions and pushed herself on the alien to get physical right away. What? Then when she finally got shocked she did something that made her TDTL. Not worth reading.

This was a real quick read that I mostly enjoyed. Just not enough to say I liked it or to ever want to read it again.
May finds her life completely controlled by her cruel stepbrother who is also the local sheriff. She's in love with the bartender where she works (which is also owned by the stepbrother) and they plan to run away and get married. But when he betrays her, May finds herself stripped, beaten, and being sold. And in walks Corin. Completely misreading the situation but knowing that May needs to be rescued and healed, he buys her.
May quickly finds out that her savior is from another planet and on Earth for a mission. One she jumps to volunteer to help with. May finds herself completely in love with Corin and his people mate for life, so you can see where this goes.
I was okay with how fast things moved I guess, after all it is such a short story. There's still the stepbrother to deal with, and Corin's mission of course. But obviously everything works out in the end. Which I found unsatisfying.

This was a very good story. I loved Corin's character. He was a very good guy and although didn't know May's situation at the time he did rescue her. He finds her bleeding and naked and hurt and offers to buy her to rescue her. However, he DOES have an ulterior motive and wants to study her. Once she talks to him and he finds out whats happened and what the real situation is he sorta diverts a little. He feels things for her but tries not to because he has a mission to find compatible women for his people who are dying out. He doesn't tell her he's an alien she sorta figures it out. I found the story to be refreshing and my favorite of hers. Sweet and romantic too actually and crazy chemistry. :)

I read this story as part of the celestial angels box set , I thought it was a lovely and sweet story and the only reason I did not give it 5 stars was due to the abrupt ending it would of been nice to read how her examinations turned out and if my theory's about why she had the symbiot were correct, but I would recommend this book again

This was a good story. I really liked both May & Corin. With that being said, this book as well as the other Alien books end rather abruptly, and leave you wondering, "what happens next?" An epilogue would have been nice.

Bought by the alien - Good sci-fi story. I liked that the characters were strong and honest with each other. The premise was interesting but I would have liked to have read about them returning to his home.
