This book gave me useful advice in building relationships with people, even though some parts of it were old-fashioned and dispersive. Besides, it should be read from the viewpoint of a salesperson. It also applies NLP in the contents. Compared to Derek Coburn's book about networking, I think this book is more fundamental and general for every relationship.

Contains some good advice for those of us who aren't natural networkers, but a lot of it is aimed at salespeople / small business owners - get that lead, meet that investor!

Still, enough in there to justify a couple of hours reading (it's not a huge book).
