Looking forward to using this as one of the base texts for my assessment course. Good overview of key components. However, was disappointed with the quality of the copy editing in this volume. Quite a few errors that were missed.

This book will make you fall in love with assessment. While it gives a broad overview of assessment practices, theories and challenges are grounded in specific examples that make the topics meaningful. This is absolutely a must-read for anyone in student affairs who cares about the effectiveness of their programs.
