First off, I think the cover is horrible for this book. It looks all freaky and scary, which is far from what this story is about. All I can think about after I read this book is Romeo & Juliet. You have the humans on one side and Vampires on the other side. Princess Shyanne, who moved to America to get away from being Royal, and Will, Emperor of the Alaskan vampire clan. Shyanne becomes a hostage to lure other humans so the vampires can feed. Not a lot of food options up in their corner of the world. Needless to say, they fall in love and.... you know how the R&J story goes.

What gets me is that Shyanne convinces the centuries old vampires to become vegetarian. Feed off animals instead of humans, and they're like, "Wow! What a great idea!" Really?!?!
