Nice collection of recipes that seem easy to make and impressive enough to serve to guests in a variety of situations (dinners for parents and friends, holidays). The book design and photos are lovely--the author is a food stylist--and the writing is witty, with a hipster urban vibe. However they're either not the kind of things I make or I already have a good recipe for whatever it is (therefore no star rating). I saved the recipe for cranberry sorbet to make this summer, but overall not a keeper for my collection.
