This book wasn't amazing but it was alright. Its obviously way outdated as it was published in 2003. My Uncle had it in his old closet so he decided to give it to me. What I liked about the book is that they did a pretty good job predicting how great his career would turn out in the end. I'm not sure I would recommend this book to anyone specifically since its so outdated but its always cool to look back and learn about greatness before it really even got started.

This was a book that I read in my elementary school library, over, and over, and over again.
Kobe was my favorite player growing up, so when I found this book at school and learned about his life before LA, and how he began to play the sport, it was great.
I have always remembered this book and the cover for its purple and gold colors that stood out from the rest. Easily one of my favorite books for the memories that come to mind when I see it and read it.

He may have been a good basketball player but he admitted to cheating on his wife and that the other woman did not view it as consensual.

What more can I say? Amazing. This biography describes his achievements as well as his life growing up in Italy. As he moved to America in Philadelphia and attended Lower Merion High school, no one would have thought of his major accomplishments as well as his popularity that he has around the day today. His 68 points in 15 minutes doesn't even impress me anymore, even at the age of 34.
I would definitely recommend this novel to anyone, who likes basketball in anyway. It will show you a new light of the sport you thought you knew.

This an interesting biography. It details how Kobe prepared to be an NBA standout. I liked it, but did not love it. Kobe's a great player, but his life story is not moving or touching in any way so it was kind of dry. Teachers can use this book when talking about biographies during the NBA season.

Kobe Bryant a great basketball who skipped college at the age of 17 and went straight to the NBA. Kobe been had the DNA of to play in the NBA his dad played in the NBA. What more can I say? Amazing. This biography describes his achievements as well as his life growing up in Italy. As he moved to America in Philadelphia and attended Lower Merion high school and which he became a star. no would have thought of his major accomplishment as well as his popularity that he has in today's world. like some of the things he did was. 5× NBA champion, 2× NBA Finals MVP, 18× NBA All-Star , and 2 times NBA scoring champion. some people can not say that have did that. I would definitely recommend this novel to anyone, who likes basketball in anyway. It will show you a new light of the sport you thought you knew. And In this book it shows the up and down in Kobe bryant career.
