This wee 1917 gem (that my father would have loved) is one of the ones you can turn the pages on, on screen, as though you were reading the original.* This was roused from the NY Academy of Medicine's library collection. If only they'd made it rhyme, way back when, learning anatomy would've been much easier. And considerably more fun.

To manage and keep up a brain,
It is no easy job,it is plain,
That's why a great many
Don't ever use any,
Thus avoiding the care and the strain.

With a conscience we're able to see
Just how bad we're permitted to be,
At the same time it's true
That what's wicked for you
Mightn't be half so wicked for me.
