He attended the workshops of Patricia Reilly Giff to further develop his writing after college.
Abbott currently lives in Trumbull, Connecticut, with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs. Tony had one brother and two sisters.
I love the multilayered character development in these books. And I love the characters. I love that they’re not all good or all bad but have to make choices that pull them in different directions. This is a great series. In this one, time travel helps them try to fight an urgent battle for Jaffa City.
Oh man. This one was intense. Eric and Keeah go forward in time, and Julie and Neal go back to find the four pieces of the moon medallion. The ending of the sword is really ramping up.
I've decided to read The Secrets of Droon series entirely for Christmas since i've been feeling a bit nostalgic. I want to be able to live a bit of the magic of being a kid and what beeter to help than this incredible series. I know that this series is for young kids but i feel it will still be great after all these years. A fantastically great adventure. It continues right after the events in the past book. The kids are split up and sent in time, Julie and Neal to the past and Eric And Keeah to the future. It is told from both points of view, the past and the future. We encounter many villains but also allies. This adventure is packed with action, twists, surprises, magic and friendship.
I was not expecting this book to blow me away the way it did. The friends are blasted all over the timestream, and are having to race against the clock to gather the items needed to get them back to their proper time as well as save Droon from the beast armies of Emperor Ko. Along the way we are treated to a special potential future where it's strongly hinted that the older versions of two of the characters might see each other as more than friends.
Fun, fast-paced adventure fans of the series won't want to miss.
