Meh.

I have a 4-year-old with anxiety and this book is definitely NOT geared towards younger kids. The tips it gives are things that are more for young adult - teenage age.

And to me, it was very, very basic. The tips were a tad unrealistic to me. (I'm thinking of how I was as a teen and some of the things they suggest saying to a teen and having a teenager repeat to themselves are not something I would think most moody, anxious teenagers would do lol.)

This book felt more like I was reading multiple quickly written blog posts vs a thoroughly researched and constructed book. I also didn't really feel it gave a whole lot of "what to do" but instead just listed "here's what happens if" and "your child is feeling like xyz." Not helpful. I picked up a self-help book to find out WHAT I NEED TO DO. Not a book that basically tells me the struggles I and my child are feeling with just a few "try this" comments here and there.

The Conscious Parent's Guide to Childhood Anxiety by Sherianna Boyle is a wonderful book that will help children to feel confident. This book will help parents to understand the kids and help them in their development. This book covers so many important topics like causes and symptoms of anxiety, peer pressure on children, social media, cyberbullying, parenting, etc.

With right parenting, children's future will be bright. This book also includes ways of natural healing and therapy. Author must have done vast research while writing this book. I really appreciate her great work. This is a very helpful book and a perfect guide that will help parents in parenting of kids with anxiety.

This book is rich in knowledge. Cover photo is decent and title is apt. Since anxiety is common these days, so this is a much needed book that parents should read. I have got so many tips from this book that will help me in the future. Pick this guide right away and take right steps to deal with childhood anxiety.
