Loved learning more about Serena. It took a lot for her to do what she did, and though I had a few cringe moments for her (like when the reader sees what is coming and miscommunication is about to happen) I really enjoyed her story!
I liked Ethan a lot too, very sweet and easy to fall for. Great D/s relationship with intimacy and sex sprinkled in just the right amounts. Lots of great discipline scenes too.
Happy ever after made me grin at the end. Would like reading more about this world. Five stars for Ms. McKay.

I loved Ethan and Serena together. They both came from difficult relationships and had to work hard to get to a point where they could fully immerse themselves into their D/S relationship. I liked that. I also really enjoyed the sex scenes and the disciplinary ones. Yum!
Their imperfections endeared me to both of them, and had me rooting for them to make it.
Even though this read as a standalone, it also re-introduced some other characters from the club.
It made for a sexy, enjoyable quick read.
