In Cursed in Virginia, Mark Nesbitt recounts tales of genuine maledictions intended to invoke evil and unease across the state the Old Dominion State. The pages will bring to life these stories, letting you decide whether the resulting tragedies were simply bad luck, coincidences…or something far more sinister.

I thought this book would be about hauntings in Virginia. Instead the author gives accounts of historical places and people who met with misfortune. He lets the reader decide if these events are bad luck, coincidences, or something evil. Most of the stories pertain to the Civil War and the Fredericksburg area of Virginia. I think a lot of the events were the result of bad luck or poor decisions. For example, it was common back then to die from things we would survive today. It's still an interesting read from the historical perspective. I've grown up in Virginia and didn't know most of these stories.
