I am currently taking a sabbatical from writing to further my education while simultaneously developing my writing skills. I feel I have met some of the conditions of my lifelong bucket list, but I enjoy writing. I just have to prioritize some things and develop my skills.

As long as you go into reading this book with the understanding that it is a JUVENILE FICTIONAL ROMANCE, then it is really a 4 star, but I feel the author could have done something a little more in making sure it was identified as such. I'm not sure what else. I honestly almost didn't bother due to the one star rating on Amazon.com, but I'm glad I did because it was worth it. The character development was interesting, but I hope to see more in the next book (assuming there is a next seeing as it's part of The Dark SERIES)
