An easy read

I liked the characters and the slow build up to their budding relationship especially considering she was a famous singer and he was her protector. The actual plot with a stalker was interesting though the 'villain ' was obvious. The sex scenes were okay though I marvel at the protagonists' lack of safety; neither even mentioned protection. The ending was also abrupt as if the writer just wanted to finish the story as quickly as possible. If she had made a little more effort with closure such as how Kenzie and Gianni's relationship is going to develop, I would have been happier. It just ended with both saying "I love you". So rather inadequate ending but an okay read.

Enjoyed It

Kenzie is a diver who got stabbed by a fan . She was laid up in the hospital for a month. Gianni became her bodyguard to protect her from a stalker. They fell in love with each other. Cassie was not a friend.

Kenzie was kind of annoying when she just kept what she wanted to do after so many attempts on her left. I was surprised it wasnt Ben as the killer. His hair color description changed in the story.

First Time reading this author, will read again. This is not a remake of the Bodyguard in words.It is a romance and suspense novel rolled into one. Kenzie is a young artist who has found tremdous fame. However, with her fame has come a stalker who has nearly devestated her life.
Her Manager hires his cousin (Gianni) who seems to be dropdead gorgeous and lethal all in one. She dislikes what Gianni does to her old like to keep her safe. There are twists and turns that leave you guessing what will happen next.

I sometines disliked that the author referred to the heroine and hero as "the woman" or "the man" it almost made you feel she was speaking of some else in the story.

However, I did like the story alot..I laughed and felt the pain and anguish. Good job..

What a Delight

Ms Pond you did your thing! This is the first book that I have read about you but it will not be the last!

Kenzie and Gianni's characters were well written and very likeable. There was action, intrigue and some very steamy scenes. Order this book and refer it to your friends you won't be disappointed.

Ms Pond you have a fan for life. Keep writing like this. I look anxiously for your next book!!!

So So Good

A very good mystery romance with a lot of action.This is such a good story about two likable people.The story is written well and moves at such a comfortable pace that you don't get any down time.The love scenes are smoking hot and so sexy.This is story so well worth your time,my only problem is I just would have liked a longer ending.

Had to stop after the 2nd chapter. Not quite sure if this is supposed to be in 1st or 3rd person. The phrasing is odd and makes it unbearable. The main characters are referred to as "the woman" and "the man" instead of he or she. Almost feels as if this was translated to English from another language but the translation is not fluid.

Honestly idk

I'm not sure how I felt about this book. Kenzie was entirely too immature for my liking and extremely frustrating. I found myself skipping along the story just to see what happened. The end wasn't enough for me either. Wasn't for me ..

Loved it

You would never think who was after Kenzie the whole time. But I did enjoy the suspense of trying to figure it out. I do love how protective Gianni was for Kenzie. They complete one another.

The H and h didn't really develop a rapport. It was rushed and lack substance. The h was very immature. I just didn't care for this story or the characters.
