I decided to buy 2 more of the books in this series, a new month, a new pair of books, and this way I won't fly through the series too much.

This time our MC is Honey again, and it was so much fun to read from her POV. And there is just so much that happens in this book. From Minnie who might be sold, to Patience and her lies (really, can someone stuff a cotton ball in that mouth of that girl), to friendship and much more. It was a delight to read, and I just couldn't wait until the end to see what would happen with Minnie.

Because, yes, Minnie's stay at Chestnut Hill is in danger. We all knew already that Minnie's stay was just as long as Patience/Patience's dad wanted to keep her, but I could never have guessed it would be so soon. Then again, time does seem to fly in these books, so who knows it could have been months. I felt so sad for Minnie, who really seems to enjoy the company of Honey, but also for Honey who already lost a horse, and is now possibly losing another one. :(

Then we also have a rumoured new girl who is a superstar in riding, and that causing some ripples of uncomfortableness and worries for our girls. Especially Dylan who wants to be in the team, but if such an awesome girl would be around would mean there is one spot less already. The conclusion to that one was really interesting, and well-written. I am happy for Dylan.

Dylan was really a shining star in this one. I won't tell you why, you will have to read, but I can tell you that I cried. That was such a kind and nice gesture. *sniffles* Best friend ever!

I loved all the parts about the horses, the lessons, the races, everything. Poor Morello. That was just so sad, on such moments you wish a horse could just talk. Sure, he showed it through body language, but that one isn't always easy to decipher. Luckily, things were figured out.

There was one big thing that I really hated. Patience. And well Lynsey, but this time Patience took the crown of stupid, idiotic, dumb, every other bad word girl. What she did in this book was just disgusting and even worse than the stuff she normally does. You know girl, you could end someone's career with saying that kind of stuff. Do you want to be responsible for that? Bah, disgusting girl. She needs to learn a lesson soon. Very soon.

All in all, this was a great book and I really enjoyed it a lot!

I rate it 3 1/2 stars. This book series is kind of look the canterwood crest series. I was guessing what was going to happen next in the book, and I got it right most of the time. Like how Dylan was going to buy Minnie for honey. That was how easy this book was too follow the story line.
I just pick up this series again after not reading this series for a long time. It is not as good as it was back then.
