As a Mets fan and someone who loves local history, I thoroughly enjoyed this book about the origins and history of the mascot of the New York Mets. Its well written, informative and attractively illustrated. This book gave me insights into the team, its managers and how the Mets organization developed and used the Mets mascot to gain recognition for the new ball team. Its written for both children and adults, and is a good reference source for New York's best baseball team.
