I normally don't add children's books to my list (too many, and WAY too easy), but I absolutely HAVE to add this one. The illustrations are gorgeous, and the story is sweet without being sugary. Huge kudos to my friend "Z" for tracking this one down with NO information ("I can't remember the title, or the author, or any of the characters names. But it was about a mouse, and I think it had a blue cover.") and then buying it for me for Christmas. (Exactly one week before my sister also found a copy. Oops. Well, now we BOTH have one.)

Jeremy mouse was such a exciting character he brought life to the pond and to the whole story.
