It all starts with a boy named Marius Mydorf. His parents had been feasted by wolves and left no money for Marius. All he had was his tutor Mr Brunet to take care of him but there was a problem.Mr Burnet had no no money for taking care of himself so how could he take care of Marius. One fateful day Marius had a letter from his great- great-uncle,Kalvitas.In the letter had a train ticket to the great city of Schwartzgarten and there was a few little money to go through the journey.

Mr Burnet thought Marius would be travelling in a first class ticket but he would be travelling in the carrage where the suitcases would be on.The great city of Schwartzgarten soon became the horror city as Marius listened to the charity ladies {who were collecting money}.The doors were shut by the guard and with only one nougat{a chocolate} Marius continued his journey which took very long.Marius reached his destination at the Schwartzgarten station but no old men were waiting for marius and besides that no one else was waiting for him;no aranged drivers;no cars had open door or no servants waiting for his arrival. That was a bad first impression that Marius got from Schwartzgarten.

Maruis bought a guidbook to find his grandad,Kalvitas.Cleaverly Marius reached Kalvitas chocolate shop but when he got in a very old man asked if he was a murderer.Marius said he wasnt a murderer he came to visit his great great uncle Kalvitas. The old man sighed and reported that he himself was kalvitas and he told Marius to get a warm coat or jumper from the cubourd in his room.Fortunately the room had jumper which fitted Marius perfectely, unfortunately the room was too cold. That whole day Marius read his guide book and slept until sun rose up.The first day kalvitas was angry about marius because he didnt know how to make a bar of chocolate and said marius was useless. So marius went out of kalvatis's shop[since he didnt care where marius went] to spend the day exploring schwartzgarten. As marius was reaching to the cemetary a group of children pushed him over t a dead end.

The children were called THE BAND OF BLOOD ,in a way they helped marius because this was where lots of kidnappers are.The band of blood were a group of orphanages which would never want to go to that horrible orphanage[where they treat children like slaves}.The following day Marius had officially been signed in the band of blood ledger and Marius told how bad his great great uncle treated him.In addition Marius had a slept the night with them.Following on the next day the band of blood had to do chores to earn money for their survival and on that same day he met constable Stensberg{the one who brings some food for the band of blood}.The band of blood lived in a very old cursed hotel, which it realy isnt, and they live in top secret they trust a very few people in this world.

When lil[member of the band of blood ] when to sell a painting with Marius and Gustavo[member of tbb].When they fininshed selling the painting, marius and gustavo went to check up on a chocolate shop where a member of the guild twelve died{kalvitas was a member of this organisation].The constable was checking the place when marius and gustavo was there. He told to give their papers[keeping in mind that marius had false papers and was also disguising himself].Marius and gustvo ran when they heard a shout after then the boys where kidnapped frogettingabout their papers-they were taken to the orphanage by a cruel man named bollo and the superindendent.

Marius and gustavo had a realy bad time in the orphanage but luckily they escaped using the chairman's car.On the way marius saw an auction being held by merla's grandma{member of band of blood and she lost her parents who very rich and had nothing to remember adding on she is a little bit crazy as well}.The auctionor was so kind to give a broken priceless chalice.Merla was very happy to get this and thanked Marius who told the b.o.b what happened to them.Fortunately lil got away from Bollo and came back to the b.o.b safely. On that same day Marius met Kalvitas who was very happy that Marius came back suprisingly.HE was more kind than ever to marius but that all changed when Merla was kidnapped and another member of the guild twelve has got murdered.Yurgen{the head of the band of blood} came with marius and found that constable Stenberg was behind this

Stenberg also tried to kill marius gustavo and cosmo . GUSTAVO was badly injured but they all were safe when they went to kalvitas.Kalvitas tok his sword and went to achocolate shop, they made gustavo sit at the counter with his wheelchair. They soon discovered there was a hidden door upstairs and that was the place where the vigils capture children and brainwash them.Marius, kalvitas and the band of blood solved the mystery and sended arkhus [the man behind all of this]to jail.THE END!

I loved this book because it was like a detective novel[which i like] and the end was unexpected. My favourite part was when constable Stenberg was caught by marius because that was when the twist of the story began.
