4.5 Star review of Something Different (The Three Graces Book 2) by Nia Farrell
This is the second book in The Three Graces series and I was really looking forward to reading it. I loved the first book in the series Something Else and couldn’t wait to see how Singer/songwriter Anna James story would go down.
Anna is living a lie, due to family obligations she has closed herself off and has abstained from sex of any kind. She was the black sheep of the family and is now trying to fit in and not cause waves. Her only outlet is the music that flows through and from her that she writes and plays with Nico.
Her best friend, Grace, has always known that Anna would have two men who want to share Anna, what Anna didn’t know was that they would be rock stars and twin brothers Jackson and Jacob Thomason.
Jackson and Jacob come to town to work with Nico and his writing partner, not knowing that AJ is in fact Anna James. What starts off as a musical collaboration soon morphs into something so much more.
I really enjoyed this story. Nia Farrell did not disappoint. Although Something Different is a heavier BDSM read, than its predecessor, it was well written and flowed well. I cannot wait for more in this series.
Again my only complaint, and it really isn’t a complaint, is that just when it got really interesting, the book finished. These books could well have been full length novels. They are that good.

Musical menage...
The second of the three Graces.... and in many ways this was a much more enjoyable read for me than the first in the series...first and foremost this instalment met my expectation regarding interactions between the three Graces , well at least two of them, as Grace and Anna kick off the story ....Next the story is better developed I loved that she was an unknown, talented musician and that her problems are answered by a double act who have everything she needs and so much more..
This is a short novella and naturally there is an instalust vibe... but this book also delves into the world of eroticism and bdsm .... the guys like to play and nothing seems to be off their table as they embark on a journey of exploration with Anna, which at times strays away from safe ... the writing is clear and the voice of Anna provides a useful perspective as the story progresses... I know nothing about the world of music making, but it would appear that the author has done her research in relation to the industry, however, at times the story was heavy on detail and there was a tendency toward information overload.
Although there were elements that detracted from the storytelling, overall I enjoyed this book and whilst I still feel there could be more development in regards to the characters and the friendship between the three ‘Graces’, I found myself caught up in the evolving relationship between Anna and the twins both romantically and professionally, and I am still eager to read the third Grace’s story..... Summer’s Eve Reads received and advanced copy of this novella from the author.

I was super excited to read book two! And it did not let me down.. Anna James Who is struggling music artist who I fell in love right away with the mouth on her confidence sassy are all my favorite traits!!
And then we have the brothers Jacob and Jackson. Sigh those two are addicting you just can't get enough of them.. So hot, so alpha ...
So when Anna decides to challenge them during the music recording things just take off.. The sparks the lust the passion the heat all combined is just so explosive.
I'm not going to give away any of the story because this is a short read I don't want to get super excited and give away anything but I definitely give this a five star and I highly recommend read!!

Well, well, well - the author hinted that she planned on "ramping up" the hot, sizzling, mother-of-all-hotness sex scenes in this book and she did NOT fib to me!! Dearest Anna, my friends, will do it ALL and she has found two super hotties to do it with. I'm not usually into really alpha guys, but Jacob and Jackson could definitely convince me to swing in that particular direction. I loved (all hot and bothered) their piercings and tattoos & their man-jewelry was pretty awesome too!
Can't wait to hear Rae's story!! I'm going to grab my copy of Book 3 right now!

I couldn't wait for book 2 of this series and I wasn't disappointed. If you are looking for fun and hot book to read, with a female character that is strong and positive. you cant do better than Something Different. This ménage a trios, featuring two sexy rock star brothers and a talented musician will leave you breathless and wanting for more. Luckily, there will be a book 3. Until then, I will pretend I am Anna, sandwiched between Jacob and Jackson.

This is Anna's story, sitting with Grace in the diner Grace has one of her visions & says they're here. Anna is determined not to look, but when convinced by Grace she does. What a pair she sees, meet twins Jackson & Jacob they perform as No Mercy. They are going to be working with Nico in some new music & Anna just so happens to be attending the standing music night at Nick's. Anna doesn't want to leave the twins but alas she has work to attend.

The story is entertaining, the sex is hot, and Anna is sarcastic and funny and talented!! A woman after my own heart!! She is lucky enough to meet her rock idols and go even further with them, a dream come true!! I am definitely eager to read book 3, because the end of this book had me guessing what will happen next!! I certainly recommend this book, so get ready to laugh and be really turned on!! Now onto book 3...

I am rating this as solid erotica.
Great erotica. Unlike book 1, this does not have a past-lives plot overlay. Anna meets the extremely hot and quite dominant twin musicians Jackson and Jacob and they make music together. Wonderful sex scenes. Fun plot but, honestly, not too much of it.
This book intertwines with the lives of Grace and her men from book 1 and the overall arc continues. I will definitely be continuing the story.

Anna is good friends with Grace, Nico and J. T. Nico sometimes works with Anna making music so when Nico wants Anna to help work with the famous rock God twins Jacob and Jackson she jumps at the chance and then jumps right to bed with them! rocking her whole world and a whole new life for her. this one is bound to get you all hot and bothered.

It was an intense story told very fast. I had to hold my breath sometimes.
Anna’s story is this... and Jacob and Jackson. Need to know more about them. Hopefully there will be more in another book in this serie.

Totally my fave of the series thus far. Anna James might be my favorite. I fell in love with the story that has one of my fave genres. Rock stars. You have Anna meeting the hotties and then the passion, the heat and the way this story was thoroughly thoughtout is awesome. Totally a fave.

Whew! Intensely hot, full of lust, love and smoking hot sex scenes. Anna, Jackson and Jacob are on fire. I loved how open and honest Anna was able to be with the guys about her sexual history as well as the issues with her parents. The story line and writing pulled me in from the first page and I fell in love with these characters. Another fantastic story form Nia Farrell!

didnt think it was possible but i liked this story more than grace's story in book 1 , anna is black sheep of the family but has been really trying hard to please her family after her mum gets cancer .after giving up sex for 6 months all she has is her music which til now shes only wrote with nico , one of her friend grace's men but when the thomason twins come into her life they make music in & out the bedroom , who wouldnt want 2 alpha males like jackson & jacob bringing you every pleasure & still get to write great music with them as well .

Something different is not so different as much as it is a bit more raw. Anna is a sexy musician that walks to her own beat plus he's sexy and talented. What can be better? Until two hunky, music genius brothers come a long. These three are fit for each other but they do say everyone has soul mates. Their story is so hot and lubed for your satisfaction, so sit back grab a toy and enjoy ;)

Jackson, Anna & Jacob's story is another quick read and just as steamy as book 1. I really like the musical aspect of this one and the mystery of what is going on with Rae.
