Interesting in that you get the perspective of living in the sanatorium. As the author states, this was written to help herself come to terms with her childhood. I'm thankful she was willing to share.
A memoir of the life of a woman who grew up mostly in hospital (entering at 3 years old) in the 1930’s and 1940’s, and despite all the hardship did persevere. It’s not entirely chronological, but despite copy errors and such it was worth the read.
