Mystic Wolves: Accidentally Wolf Book 1 and His Perfect Wolf Book 2 are the first two books in the Mystic Wolves series by Elle Boon.
In these two books you will meet the Malik brothers, Zayn and his older brother Niall. They are part of the Mystic River Pack of wolf shifters in South Dakota. Niall is alpha of the pack. I love how the wolves are portrayed in this book. Shifting back and forth from human to wolf is a beautiful thing. There are no bones cracking or unpleasantness. Just a beautiful shimmery change.
In the first book, the story centers on the younger of the brothers, Zayn. His brother’s little son has been caught in a trap in wolf form. Dr. Cora Welch, the town veterinarian is out for a run when she finds him and rescues him. In her attempt to carry the cub back to her clinic, he bites her out of fear. When the men of the pack come to retrieve the cub from the clinic, Zayn’s inner wolf recognizes his mate but the last thing Zayn wants is a human mate.
Cora has come down with a fever from the bite. She is sent home with Zayn to be cared for. If he can keep his distance, she will fully recover. But if he bites her again, she will become one of them. Cora is drawn to him just as strongly as he is to her and you can guess where this goes. Cora becomes an accidental wolf and Zayn is ready to claim her as his mate. But there is a rival pack that wants to use Cora as a pawn in their bid for power. Cora is forced to trust Zayn with her life.
In the second book, Niall has resigned himself to being alone and just caring for his beautiful son and his pack. He tragically lost his wife years ago and she was his true mate. He will never love again as he did her.
Alaina Strop is part fey and part wolf but she has never been able to shift. Her father deems her worthless and is going to force her to mate with one of their pack mates, a horrible, abusive shifter. She will not allow this to happen so she runs. But, again, she finds trouble and is surrounded by a group of rogue shifters. She ends up falling off a cliff and hitting her head. When she wakes up, she is in the arms of Niall Malik.
When Niall finds the beautiful woman, his wolf woke up immediately. These two are instantly drawn to one another and their relationship goes very physical very fast. Alaina regains part of her memory but still doesn’t remember what she was running from. Niall struggles with his memories and his growing need for this woman. But there are many secrets that need to be revealed. While Alaina knows what Niall is, he doesn’t know what she is or anything of her history. But danger finds them as Alaina’s evil pursuers find her and plan to reclaim her. Niall must fight for the woman he now thinks of as his own so he can finally claim his perfect mate.
Both of these stories are hot, hot, hot! The chemistry is off the charts. Each story has it’s own ending while the underlying danger of the rogue shifters is present. Of the two, I enjoyed the first one the most. Cora and Zayn were perfect together. The second one felt a bit choppier to me and I didn’t feel the connection quite as much. Still, though, I did enjoy both of these books and plan to go on to the third and final book, Jett’s Wild Wolf.

I only got this because it was free and finished it because I had gone too far not to. It had too much sex for my liking but I hate to admit it....what's more manly than tattooed biker werewolves?

Been waiting to read these books for awhile. Finally able to purchase yay! I LOVE Elle Boon books. She is just an awesome writer and person! She's hilarious and loves her readers and it shows.
Accidentally Wolf:
This got me the first page y'all! I LOVE Cora's character. She is sweet and caring but wont take any crap. She's a veterinarian and stops along her run to help an injured wolf pup. The pup being in pain accidentally bites her because he's hurt and just reacted. Wolf pup being the son of the Alpha of Mystic Wolves. She's feeling hot and ahem "excited" all the sudden. Especially when she meets Zayn, the alpha's brother. He's a blonde tatted up ball of furriness I mean hotness. She sorta goes with it all but in her defense she's feeling weird and feels safe with Zayn. She is human therefore doesnt know about shifters. Zayn doesnt want or need a mate but he cant seem to help himself. He tries to stay away but that doesnt work. Cora doesnt make it easy on him either ha. Great story.
His Perfect Wolf:
This is the Alpha Niall's story. His mate was killed a few years ago. He's still mourning her and thinking of her often. They have a son, Nolan who is 7 and cute and sweet. He wants a mother for his son and someone to warm his bed too. Love wont ever enter into it...so he thinks. He's a bit stubborn. He stumbled upon a woman who fell off a cliff and man she smells good to him! Enter in Alaina who has no memory. Her step-father is forcing her to mate someone she doesnt know. So, she runs. After being injured she loses her memory temporarily and it slowly comes back. She's entranced and feels something for Niall. These two really kinda went at it. However, both thinking its a fling it quickly turns into more. Will her memory come back fully before her "intended" comes looking for her? Will Niall accept her after he finds out what she is?
Great stories and going to be reading Jett's next!

ACCIDENTAL WOLF 🐺 5 stars.
Cora is a veterinarian and finds a little cub wolf caught in a trap. He bites her and a fever takes over. When the cub's father comes for him, they take her to their pack because of
the bite. Zayne is the Alpha's brother and keeps her at his house. As long as they don't have sex and he doesn't bite her, she will be ok. But Zayne can't resist her and makes her his mate. A human turned wolf is very rare but Zayne will do anything to help her through this. The moment he smelled her, he knew she was his but his mind was slow at the realization. When she's kidnapped Zayne will kill anyone that gets in his way.
Short book. Very hot. Sexy wolves. I really enjoyed this story.
HIS PERFECT WOLF 🐺 5 stars
Alaina is half wolf and half fey. She finds out her father isn't her biological father and he has set up a marriage between her and a member of his pack. She runs away and goes to Mystic where her Aunt is supposed to live. She breaks down and starts to walk but a bunch of wolves chase her and she falls off a twenty foot cliff and ends up with amnesia. Niall is Alpha of the Mystic wolves, has a son and his truemate died years ago. He swears he'll never give his heart to another but one whiff of Alaina and his wolf goes wild. But some wolves are after Alaina and he will not let anyone take his mate.
Short. Extremely hot. Wolves and feys. The only thing he never tells her he loves her, she tells him but he doesn't say it back.

This is the perfect beginning for the series. Not only do you get a fantastic HEA, but you also get a taste of what the future holds. I enjoyed how the author, and Zayn’s wolf, help him to see what’s right in front of him before he misses his opportunity. That might sound like the book is all flowers and roses, but the truth is far from it. The author gave us just the amount of action and danger we need to fall in love with the Mystic Wolves. This author is an amazing story teller and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

Lost in an unknown situation
How exciting! Niall has found his mate. Okay I know it must have been horribly difficult as his first mate met with a violent end, but he’s only 37 I’m sure she didn’t want him alone forever. I liked the turn this book took with the surprise inside. I bet it was unconscious act of self preservation, but who knows. All I know for sure is that the intensity is off the charts within the pages of this book and I 100% enjoyed it. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Too bad...
This could have been a solid three except this author has two series, each using the same world building, yet apparently she doesn't remember that in one series, werewolves hurt while shifting, can't get pregnant but twice a year, humans struggle while shifting first few times, etc.
In this one, same world, they need condoms, it doesn't hurt to shift, humans shift easy. Any author who can't be consistent in their world building between series set in same world loses me.
According to the other series, it's the same werewolf pack, just part of group broke off for new place.

Two books to start a great series.
Accidental Wolf was a funny set of circumstances that led to Zayn eventually getting his mate after he messed up. Cora was one strong woman that could roll with the punches. She was the perfect match to keep Zayn on his toes.
His Perfect Mate was a great second chance at love for Niall when he rescued Alaina from where she was hurt in the woods. I loved seeing him come to realize he couldn't live without her. Alaina found a family and a mate that loved her even though she was flawed.

BOOK 1
I've read all of this authors other books in her Iron Wolves series, so I was happy to pick this one up! It includes both book 1 and 2 but I will review them individually.
As with any first book in a new series I expect a bit of world building to take place to set the series up, this one did feel a little light on some details at times but not enough for it to be a problem or leave you feeling confused, I just think I would have liked a little more.
It had all the usual things I've come to expect from this author with snarky banter and humour with some hot, sexy alpha's and this one didn't disappoint.
I love how this one started with Cora rescuing a wolf pup. Cora was fantastic, though she really didn't put up much of a fight and was insta-in love with Zayn.
Zayne I had to warm up to but once you got over his rather gruff exterior and the fact he wasn't looking for a mate, he was pretty swoon worthy.
I wasn't too sure as to why Cora was targeted by the other wolf pack, seemed a little bit unresolved for me. The love scenes were smoking hot and they had really great chemistry.
Over all a great start to the series and i Look forward to it continuing in the next book. (
BOOK 2!
Another great addition to the series with Niall being one smoking hot Alpha of the pack. Again took me a little to warm up to him though as he came across a bit of a jerk wanting a woman to help raise his son and warm his bed but not to mate as his deceased wife was his true mate. What does that make Alaina then???
Thankfully as soon as he realises that Alaina is indeed his mate then his attitude changes.
Alaina is on the run from her stepfather who is trying to mate her to a abusive pack member to get her out of his hair. She loses her memory after an attack on Niall territory from some rouge wolves.
They have great chemistry together and it isn't long before they are hitting the sheets.
We see some more of the other pack member's and am looking forward to reading their stories. Overall not a bad read.

Loved the characters and the concept behind their stories but I feel they lacked a little in their depth. If each story was expanded and the conflict within each story gone into further these would have been more exciting and made you want to keep reading whereas these I kept thinking about where they could have gone. Good short reads but I prefer the Iron Wolves

Accidentally Wolf
Cora is a veterinarian and as such she can't turn away from an animal in need. While out for a run she comes across a wolf pup caught in a trap. After freeing the little guy he bites her while she's getting him in a position to carry.
Now you know that wasn't just a wolf bite, the little guy is the Alpha of Mystic River's son. Cora is in the throws of a fever when Zahn shows up to get his nephew. She confronts him in a towel having just taken a shower and then passes out.
It takes a bit to convince her to stay with him but she finally sort of agrees. Then the fun ensues as she is really feeling the mating pull even though she hasn't turned.
This book is hotter than hot, amusing and fun, with some tense moments as well. We meet Kellen (Iron Wolves) in this book, it was interesting seeing him as a secondary character.
Lots of interaction with Niall, the Alpha and Nolan, the pup. However the focus is on Zahn and Cora and their insane attraction to each other.
His Perfect Wolf
In this book Nolan wants his dad to find a mate so he can be happy like his uncle Zahn. Not an easy fete when none of the wolves around you are the one.
Fate is an interesting beast, Alaina is home for a visit and immediately she is told she is going to be mated within forty-eight hours. Having none of that she sneaks away seeking her mother's family in Mystic River.
Missing her turn she decides to continue on her path up the mountain to the lodge getting a flat tire. Resigned she sets off on foot through the woods as she scents wolves. This was a big mistake as she gets surround by wolves and falls over a cliff.
Alaina wakes with no memory but a distinct attraction to Niall. I love the way this relationship blossoms slowly, but with plenty of heat.Of course this path isn't smooth. Other than the rogues that caused her fall, there's still her father and the man he wants her to mate.
I loved the way little Nolan shows up and wins her heart even as she has already given it to his father.
Continuing with the next book in this series, I love these shifters!

Lots of interaction with Niall, the Alpha and Nolan, the pup. However the focus is on Zahn and Cora and their insane attraction to each other.

In this book Nolan wants his dad to find a mate so he can be happy like his uncle Zahn. Not an easy fete when none of the wolves around you are the one.
Fate is an interesting beast, Alaina is home for a visit and immediately she is told she is going to be mated within forty-eight hours. Having none of that she sneaks away seeking her mother's family in Mystic River.
Missing her turn she decides to continue on her path up the mountain to the lodge getting a flat tire. Resigned she sets off on foot through the woods as she scents wolves. This was a big mistake as she gets surround by wolves and falls over a cliff.
Alaina wakes with no memory but a distinct attraction to Niall. I love the way this relationship blossoms slowly, but with plenty of heat.Of course this path isn't smooth. Other than the rogues that caused her fall, there's still her father and the man he wants her to mate.
I loved the way little Nolan shows up and wins her heart even as she has already given it to his father.
Continuing with the next book in this series, I love these shifters!

Two sexy shifters for the price of one.
In Accidentally Wolf we meet Cora and Zayn. Cora is a Vet who wanders upon a wolf cub stuck in trap during morning run in the mountains surrounding her clinic/apartment. While tending the injured cub, he accidentally bites her. Meanwhile, the Mystic wolf pack is in frenzy searching for the youngest member of their pack, Nolan. Nolan is Niall, their Alpha's son. Zayn found his nephew and his mate when he stepped into the Veterinary clinic late that night, looking for the missing cub. Since Cora had already been bitten by a werewolf once, she needed to be taken care of. The Mystic Wolves would care for her, specifically Zayn. Zayn is basically, tall and gorgeous with short blonde hair and lots and lots of tats. Some people say he exudes sex and menace. I like to think he's a wet dream on a motorcycle but I digress. Zayn worries if he should make Cora his mate, if he's worthy of her? He even tries to push her away. But when a situation arises and Cora is in danger, Zayn knows he can't wait. This is the first book in the Mystic Wolves series. The characters are all likeable and the settings are believable. I would love to live in Mystic, South Dakota.

Disappointed. It was an ok read, but definitely not what I was expecting from Ms. Boon. I loved Xan's Feisty Mate from the Iron Wolfs series and also enjoyed other books in the series. Although, not as much. I expected the same excitement. Did not get it. In fact, I was quite bored with both brother's relationships. The premise of the books seems to be along the line of the Iron Wolfs. Fey magic, werewolves, mates, but quite different. Could not fathom wolves not being able to sense/ smell other wolves, even those right in front of them. How could Niall hide behind the bedroom door and Rickard not smell him. Absurd. I mean Rickard was an a$$, but he was still a wolf.
There were times when I had to reread to find out whether Alaina or Niall was speaking. Annoying. I did enjoy the characters, however, even though there was lack of development for most. The story was also not well developed. Wolves needing condoms why. They have no disease and they could only impregnate their mate. Also, why did Alaina not mention she could smell him or why didn't they notice she was healing extremely fast. That would have made the amnesia believable. Alaina used her powers on the tattoo owners, but then says I don't have any power. Also, all through out the book she was saying how she could sense wolves and fey, and yet in the end she says she has no powers. Definitely needs tweaking.
In the end I guess it really was an ok read. My expectations were so high. I actually picked this book because I was coming off an emotionally taxing series and needed a breather. Looked forward to Ms. Boon's wit and excitement. With that said, I will recommend for others to give a try. I may consider Jett's story, if one exists, because he was funny.

Mystic Wolves: Books 1 & 2
WOW! Both of these stories are short stories. Book 1 is about Zayn and Cora. It starts out with Cora finding Nolan, Zayn's nephew, in a trap. She rescues him but he accidentally bites her and the process starts. Cora falls for Zayn. Her transformation is interesting. The gist of the story finds that a rogue pack tries to kidnap Cora but Zayn is able to save her but the bad guy actually gets away so they have to be alert. Zayn finally marks Cora as his and she marks Zayn. Glad these two found their happily ever after.

2 stories in one book. First we have the brother Zayn Malik and his soon to be accidental mate, who turns out to be his true mate. She was accidentally bitten by his nephew Nolan,when she saved him from a bear trap and got bit by him when he was startled. She would have been fine as long as she wasn't bitten again. Zayn was attracted to her and could not resist her. While making love she bit him and in turn he bit her a 2nd time, causing her to become a wolf shifter. He tells her the truth about himself and what she has become. Insta-lust to Insta-love, with some action interspersed and Zayn & Cora get their HEA. 3.5 stars.

Fantastic read!
I have found a new love.......and they are shifters! I can't read these quickly enough!! I am happily prowling (see what I did there?!), between the Ironwood Wolves MC and the Mystic Wolves MC and loving these over protective, alpha males who will anything to protect their family and their mate.
In book one Zayn finds his match with Cora after Niall's son accidentally bites her. Despite being adamant that he was not looking for a mate, he cannot deny the overwhelming need to mark her and make her his. But there are rogues that want to break the pack apart. This has me on the edge of my seat!
Book two: Niall is the leader, the alpha of the Mystic Wolves MC, he lost his mate and feels he does not want, not will he find another. Then he finds Alaina, hurt in the woods, she seems to have lost her memory but they both feel a pull to each other. Damn! I cannot get enough of these books! I love that the women are feisty with a touch of sass! And the men are unapologetically protective.
Phew *fans self, I need to cool down!!

Vet Cara saves cub who bit her and started the mating reaction, Zany takes her to his place and how could he resist I'm loving Zany yes. Alaina goes on the run from her stepfather he wants to mate her to a member of the pack being alpha he thinks he has the right to. Car gets a flat miles from anywhere running through the woods (who would do that) she comes face to face with 3 men\wolves who thought They would have some fun with her backing away she falls down a cliff, Nawail happens by finds her wants to protect her. His son is at grandma's so they got a free weekend . Ok so it sounds a bit boring but there is a lot more to both of these books, women beaters and hot hot showers and beds i recommend these books for the fun and hot men

Zayn vows to keep his fangs to himself, but when a band of rogue wolves attack, all he can think about is keeping Cora safe, and making her his.

This was a new Author for me. I always measure shifter romance against the Phoenix and Mercury Pack Series by Suzanne Wright. This was enjoyable. Cora is bitten by a pup and she becomes a wolf. The pups pick takes her in and the Alpha’s brother realizes that she is his mate. They have enemies who are trying to hurt their pack and Cora is caught in the crossfire. In addition to this, the Alpha, who has sworn to never love another after his mate dies, finds himself drawn to a newcomer. She sets him on fire and he can’t resist. The twists and turns make this an exciting read. There could’ve been a bit more character development or background story of the pack, but, it didn’t take away from a great story line.

I really enjoyed this series! So glad it's a boxed set, so I can go from one story to the next. Looking forward the the third book in this series. I really liked the introduction to this series. I felt the author did a great job on the characters. I felt both stories were well written. I liked how both heroines weren't so damsel-ly and very capable. Out of all the characters I'm very interested in Nolan, I think he may be more gifted then what everyone thinks. If you're into shifters this is a great set to read. I know I was entertained and look forward to more from this author.

Two book for the price of one. The first 2 stories in the Mystic Wolves series and well worth the read. I love how as the book goes on we meet more and more of the pack and start to learn about the past. An injured wolf cub, a caring vet and an overprotective uncle who doesn't want a human mate is the first story. An alpha who has lost his mate, loves his cub. and a half breed on the run from an abusive stepfather is the second story. And let me just add......HOT! I can't wait to read the next book in the series which is Jett's story

Niall finds Alaina ,who had fallen from a cliff and has no memory who she is. His wife died a few years before and he had a son to raise. She was being assaulted by another shifter and his buddies but could remember them.
Zayne found Cora after Nialls son had bitten her. They made her come with them to watch her and make sure she was all right but Zayne could not resist her.
I won't give away any more info except to tell you I wish real men were like shifters....yummy.

Accidentally Wolf: I loved this fast paced romance. It was full of sexiness and even some added action. Cora is a sweet sassy lady and Zayn is a sexy wonderful man. I enjoyed my entire time reading their story and I can't wait to read a bout the others in the pack.

Too many questions unanswered
This book left me irritated with all the unanswered questions raised and never answered.
*spoilers*
The first story was okay but pretty predictable - oh, a lot to process so just leave me alone so the bad guys can kidnap me.
The second story ended with too many questions left unanswered. Her mom hid her own powers as well her daughter's abilities and hid who her father is and why her mom ran from him - still know none of this. And when her mom tells her she hid all this, no questions are asked and no real curiosity about it - from anyone.

Both Are Fun Hot Reads

Loved It!!
This book contains the first two books in Ms. Boon’s Mystic Wolves series and I loved every page. Strong heroines mixed with sexy wolf shifters with a desire to claim and protect their mates from all adversaries. But, amidst the desire to claim is the desire to love and be loved in return. If you are a fan of paranormal then definitely check out this book and this series!

Good Start to a Paranormal Series
I had read the third book in this series, and though I enjoyed it immensely, several references pointed to other members of the pack. So when I found this volume containing both book 1 and 2, I quickly began to read it so I can continue this very well-written series. I enjoyed the romantic passages as well as the action packed portions which solved critical problems in order to bring about our happy endings. Recommended!

Loved these Journeys So Hard
Two hot books, two hot brothers, and finding their life long mates takes you on two incredible journeys. Each one uniquely different with heat to scorch, danger and action. Of course there is a bit of humor in each, making them even better all the way to the end. There is a bigger danger lurking in the background, but these each can stand alone with a Happy Sigh End.

I loved this double book.
The mystic wolves; Zayn and Niall are badass alpha males!
Cora and Alaina are kickass females!
I was hooked from the beginning and couldn't stop reading till I was finished both books.
The storylines were fantastic and kept me interested.
Elle Boon is an amazing author and I love her work.
I would recommend these books to anyone and everyone.

I really enjoyed reading Mystic Wolves Books 1 & 2. They can be read as stand alone books, but as a part of a series they blend together nicely. If you love shifter books, especially ones with wolves, these won't disappoint. If you've never read this genre, these books are a great place to start. Best of all they are HEAs (Happily Ever Afters).
