Refuge Workbook

The Refuge Workbook serves as an individual workbook for those participating in the Refuge abuse support group. The Refuge Workbook contains handouts and activities utilized by the group facilitator from the Abuse Support for Teens curriculum. Although the workbook is particularly effective for teen and young adult participants it has been used among other age groups. The illustrations, video clips and artistic activities contained in the curriculum format allow group participants the opportunity to process emotions and experiences related to the trauma of abuse through means outside of language.
