The Snow saga continues with the years of living in the American colonies under the tyranical English rulers The Snow children and grandchildren have spread out, up and down the Cape Cod peninsula. As soon as there is peace established with the Indians they face the new threats of embargoes and blockades from the British fleet. Their towns are taken over by the "redcoats" and war is unavoidable. But the "yoke" of governmental authority is not the only yoke from which the Snows struggle to "escape.".Each of the family members have their own 'yokes" which they battle in various ways.

About the author

Award winning novelist and poet, J.A. Snow embarked on an incredible journey several years ago when she began translating sixty generations of her family genealogy into a series of historical novels. The first complete series, is called An American Family; five consecutive books of history of the Snow family from their medieval roots in Porlock, England all the way up to the Dust Bowl of the 1930's in America. She tells the story of her 11th generation great grandmother who crossed the Atlantic on the Mayflower with the original Pilgrims and takes the family through several wars and devastating epidemics.
Just launched last year, her new series,
The Viking Sagas, tells of her ancestors in ancient Kvenland begins with A Dynasty of Giants, the story of three boys who become obsessed with the Norse god Odin, and, as they grow older, sets them up for a deadly competition over territorial rights. In the second book, The Sea Kings, readers will meet exciting characters such as Rognvald the Wise, and King Harald Fairhair. Rollo, who founded Normandy, William Longsword and Richard the Fearless are coming in 2018 in the third book The Pagan Princes.
Her books are steeped in real history and real people.

A historical fiction of the first Americans

J.A.Snow has a well researched and written American family's journey thru the generations from the Mayflower up to the start of the American Revolution....if you are a fan of historical fiction...especially American history...it's a must read...
