I don't know who the author is supposed to be, but this book seems to have been written by a non-English speaker who is attempting to copy the style of Mark Twain. I have seldom had the displeasure of having to force my way through so much stilted grammar and obtuse narrative in my life. This book gets one star only because I can't give it zero. If I could erase the book and get my money back I would.
