Rate this book
Evil has been plotting, and planning for many years, the time has now arrived for the plan to play out.
Maria Myers, an unsuspecting young woman, is the main part of this plan, which begins simply enough, with her landing the job of her dreams.
All the luxuries life has to offer, are placed neatly into Maria's hands by her newfound employer. What makes things even better, is she finds herself instantly attracted to one of the men she'll be working with, Jupiter Anderson, a muscled Adonis.
Her innocence, and trust, are the things the evil depends on the most, as this is what helps lure Maria into it's trap.
A mysterious man warns Maria of the dangers around her, but her optimism and innocence blinds her to the truth.
As things begin to unravel, Maria must find a way to stop the path she's on, as it's a path of no return.

I was expecting good things from this given the good reviews but at 46% I'm giving up... too much inconsistency, poor grammar, spelling mistakes... Giving him a 'site' rather than 'sight' is the last straw for me.

I've struggled with this from the beginning. Maria is offered a dream job, huge salary, amazing apartment as a result of some research she started but didn't finish on synthetic blood. There is this ridiculous conversation at the beginning where Jupiter is telling Maria about the benefits of synthetic blood and she says she'd never thought about it before. Really?? Then she's telling him about plasma as though he wouldn't already know... I know this is probably for the benefit of the reader but these two are supposed to be incredible scientists with the capacity to change the world and they are having some high school level discussion.

I'm upset with myself for getting to 46%.... waste of time.

This book really is one of a kind! I've read so many books for reviews from publishing companies that were so-so...and I came across this one by being lucky enough to see the author promoting his series as the fourth book came out. I'm so glad that I jumped on the opportunity. From the very first page I was hooked- there is just something about this story that is unique and so much fun. I honestly did not want to put this book down. I kept trying to go to sleep since I had to get up for work the next morning and I found myself constantly opening the book back open and reading a few more pages before trying again. Needless to say before I knew it I'd already read over 70% of the book.

I couldn't help but get wrapped up in the excitement at the beginning of the book- I could feel Maria's excitement as she got this amazing job and all these things just started falling in her lap. I knew that there was something behind the amazing things (the synopsis is one big hint!) and I honestly couldn't wait to find out more.

I believe this is a self-published book and for a self-published book the editing was well done. I noticed a few minor spelling issues (which I've seen in books published by big time publishing companies) but it was most often just a case of switching between here and hear! Nothing that in any way took away from the book.

The book was so fast paced I didn't note the passing of time really well, but honestly I didn't care at all about the timeline I was far too into the story of vampires. The author managed to take a well-used idea and twist it perfectly to make a great story.

The book answered so many questions and opened a world that I can not wait to dive deeper into. I'm going to be starting the next book ASAP!

Without a doubt, this is one book you should give a try!

WOW

I was very lucky I got this book free...and I can say one thing right now...WOW ! I really enjoyed this story...the vampires, the story line and the characters were awesome! This author took me on a very exciting ride which I truly enjoyed. Maria was a nice shy young woman who didn't know her bloodline, Juniper a strong vampire in his own right....it started out being their story and ends up being totally different. But no spoilers here! Just read and enjoy this ride! Now on to the next!

"Rebirth" by Corbin Dailey is book one in the 'Rebirth' series, and it is my first read by this author. I really liked it and it will not be my last read. Maria Myer, sweet, innocent, and trusting meets her boss successful Jupiter Anderson (oh, and a very strong vampire.) It is a quick read, and if you enjoy Vampire stories you will LOVE this book. Of course there is more to the story but it deserves to be read rather than me telling you what happens.

Loved this vampire book

I really enjoyed this book. It's been a while since I read a vampire series and I am very happy I started this one. The only thing I had a hard time getting used to was the constant change between third person and first person view. I will definitely be reading this whole series.

I admit i didn't finish it..

I couldn't get past the writing style. 🤷‍♀️ It just felt like a first draft rather than a finished novel. Sorry.

Outstanding

A new exciting twist to a vampire series. The storyline is intriguing and at times intense yet keeps true to the original vampires that drew a lot of us in years ago. I can't wait to go into the second book. Bravo Corbin.
