Jake, a teenage boy from Earth, has a chance encounter with three enchanting teenage girls from another world. Jake is then willingly smuggled aboard their spacecraft without the knowledge of the girls' mothers. His incredible adventures take him into various situations and incidents along the way. The people of Earth are far from ready for a first contact situation: let alone Earth ever being considered as a prospective new member of the Alliance of Independent Worlds. Planet Earth is facing a very great danger. Should steps now be taken?
I was born in the southeast of the United Kingdom. After leaving school, I pursued a career in electronics. I was fortunate, having gone to a local business on a day release program from school, I was then taken on as an apprentice. After my apprenticeship was complete, I left and started my own business, which I still do today. As for writing, I had never considered writing a novel until I had this strange science fiction dream. This dream stayed with me. I decided to put pen to paper and had a draft of my first novel completed in just a few months. My interests include, among other things, reading and science fiction movies.
This book was a pleasant surprise. The summary sounded good to me but I was afraid it would be one of those poorly written books with tons of spelling errors and dialogue that sounds like robots talking but luckily I was wrong. It also has societies where the women vastly outnumber the men which outside of erotica I've only seen a couple times and it always interests me how authors imagine such a society functioning. I highly recommend this book.
I was unsure about this one at first but gave it a go. I think it is very underrated having found it an enjoyable read along with a good story line. Told from the prospective of the main character a human named Jake. Traveling through space aboard their cargo ship. He and his alien family encounter various adventures and situations. Well worth looking at.
