After her attack at the hands of David Morris, her stalker, Tracie retreats to Texas to regroup and heal. Devon Moore, the love of her life stays in Hollywood to finish their movie, perform on his series, and head the search for the wily stalker.
The only problem is David Morris has vanished.
The Las Angeles police department hasn’t located him, despite the fact Tracie did manage to shoot him on the day of the attack in her trailer on the Studio lot. Devon offers a reward, or as Tracie likes to call it a bounty, for information on David Morris and while the tips pour in, none pan out, leaving Devon to conclude David Morris is no longer a threat.
Tracie doesn’t agree, and she’s been spending her time in Texas preparing for her next confrontation with the stalker with the help of her bodyguard, Dante Harris.
Devon remains in L.A. for three reasons, one to find David Morris, two to do his job and three in a hope that Tracie’s love for him will bring her back. That plan backfires when a former ‘friend with benefits’, Monica shows Devon a tabloid with a picture of Dante and Tracie on the cover looking very cozy.
Devon caught up in jealousy for the first time in his life, flies to Texas to protect his turf and finds Tracie just as in love with him as ever. Dante on the other hand is another story. Dante wants Tracie and has no problem letting Devon know this.
Devon tries to warn Tracie, but she’s not hearing him as she’s still too concerned with the whereabouts of her stalker. Then, if things aren’t already tense enough, Cora reappears with the news that David Morris has switched Winters women he wanted to stalk… to Cora.
Will Tracie and Devon get past this impasse?
