Interesting book but I would only take some of its facts with a pinch of salt. Some of the data is clearly incorrect like the distance from Alexandria to Matrouh is a one hour drive...Anyone who lived in Egypt knows it’s a 300km distance and could never be done in an hour. This makes lots of data stated questionable.
Moreover the author is constantly trying to show the Egyptian military, intelligence and police as dupes who are easy to fool yet he got caught and never knew how they did so.

It is normal that in such texts no spy will claim he was stupid and hence will always show his adversaries as inferior.

Un libro de un espía y uno de verdad. Por mucho que diga que no, el autor compartía mucho con James Bond, concretamente el asunto de la vida glamorosa, pero de resto la amarga realidad se encuentra presente en cada página de este libro y si se agrega el hecho que es uno ambientado en el Medio Oriente donde los conflictos son una constante, pues no hay mucho que decir. Simplemente genial el libro

A very easy read. Not "the best book", but I found it very interesting. The book is quite easy to read.

The book is written by Wolfgang Lotz who tells his story of serving as an Israeli spy, living in Egypt for 5 years leading up to the Six Day War.

لوتز ولفگانگ جاسوس آلمانی- اسرائیلی در این اثر به قلم خودش به شرح عملیات جاسوسی خودش در دهه شصت میلادی در مصر در دوران قدرت جمال عبدالناصر می پردازد
او که در سال ۱۹۹۳ درگذشت، در این اثر اشاره می کند که چگونه از وجود فساد گسترده در نظام اداری مصر استفاده کرده و اطلاعات ذی قیمتی را برای اسراییل فرستاده، اطلاعاتی که در جنگ سال ۱۹۶۷ موسوم به جنگ شش روزه میان اسراییل و اعراب( مصر، عراق، اردن، سوریه) بسیار مفید و موثر بود
او توسط سازمان اطلاعات مصر در ۱۹۶۵ و دو سال قبل از جنگ دستگیر و محکوم به حبس ابد می شود اما این پایان ماجرای او نیست
