I wanted a quick, richly-illustrated and most of all practical guide on how to make Feng Shui happen in the house I just moved into. This book, or at least the first half of it, isn't it. It's mostly talk and theory on topics like Taoism, yin and yang and the nature of the different elements (I'm water, if you believe the book's quiz, and fire, if you believe astrology.)
I just wanted to know, without the philosophic fluff, what color of rugs I should consider and where I should put my plants.
This isn't to say that I don't like philosophic fluff or that this is a good or bad book. It' just not the book I'm looking for now.
