Ani Forrest has spent most of her life fumbling down what she thinks is the right path. For the last five years, she has spent every moment trying to see the world. But no matter how hard she tries, nothing ever feels right. With her father’s health failing, and an urge too strong to resist, she finds herself back in the sleepy Tennessee town where she grew up.

However, fate has tempted Ani with a choice to make; does she resume the life she once had or does she take the opportunity to follow something different? Cash Roberts, the man who once held her heart, is vowing to win Ani back. But the seduction of something new is too strong to resist when a handsome stranger shows up in town. Knox O’Connell has brought his M.C. to Coker Creek in an attempt to get away from the anarchy and chaos of Ireland. The last thing he needs is the enticement of a free spirited woman; that is until she turns his world upside down.

Will Knox be able to win Ani over? In the midst of rival M.C. retaliation, will she be able to put her worries aside and follow the path that fate has given her or will she stay on the road that has always been familiar? What would you do if your past and present collided together, leaving you standing at a crossroad unsure of which path to take.

I was given a copy of this book by the author for an honest review, of which I received no compensation for.

OMG…this book was fantastic! I seriously just got out of bed at 3 am…no I have not slept yet because I couldn't stop reading…to write this review!

Ani is a Tennessee girl who moved to New York right after high school leaving behind a broken heart thanks to her longtime friend and then boyfriend Cash. After many years she moves back home to be with her ailing older father. Cash is set on getting Ani back but she doesn't want to fall back into her same old pattern. Cash hurt her and she has changed in her years away…as has the occupants of the town she grew up in. She has some fences to mend because of the way she left all those years ago and an attraction to one very alluring biker that she can't get away from.

Ani is a strong character. Confused in the beginning about where she fits into her old world and what she wants her future to be she jumps head first into taking care of her father and childhood home. As the story unfolds and she is placed in various circumstances outside of her control you see her develop and grow. I was impressed by her clear head and strength in the face of adversity. She is not only strong of mind but most importantly of spirit…even in the bleakest moments.

Cash is a good old country boy…devastated by what he lost in Ani and how he never repaired it he is determined to win her back but fate has other plans. Given only a brief glimpse into his character he didn't really pull me in until the end when his true colors shined through. No matter his hurt or disappointment, he stood up for what he cared for and took care of business in the end. I really hope that he will be a more involved character in future installments.

Knox….ohhhh….everyone needs them a Knox. What isn't to love about a hot Irish biker with a heart of gold? Trustworthy, loyal, loving…I abso-freaking-lutely loved Knox! Sorry…swooning over here. Anyways, I want to know more about Knox and his past…who and what made him the man that he is? As much power as he holds, he also has the respect of his club and the love of its members. The softness he shows to Ani, the unconditional soul encompassing love…I just don't have the words.

As much as I loved the main characters the secondary characters were funny and just as engrossing there were some I loved, some I hated, and some who were shrouded in mystery. I have questions and I need details! I want to know more about Rage and Kate...Jameson and Starla…Charon…Butcher and who he was protecting…and what the hell is up with Chloe? Oh the possibilities this has as a series…doing a little happy dance in my own head now!

I have read other reviews on this book where people commented on editing…honestly, that normally doesn't bother me if the story sucks me in and this did whole heartedly…so if there were editing issues I didn't even notice. What I can say is that though it started out a hair slow…I have read much worse…it wasn't for long and once it grabbed me it had me by the balls. There were moments where my heart about pounded out of my chest…seriously! I got irritated, angry, and scared right there along with the characters. The emotional trip this book took me on was astounding and my hat is off to Jennifer for producing such a gripping tale. I will say 100% that this is not for everyone…if you are offended by sex (consensual and not so consensual), crude language, and heavy drinking this is not for you. I spent many of my teen years around bikers and I can honestly say memories of the friendship and family this story brought back were welcomed. I love, love, loved this book and can't wait for another! That all being said if you love your bikers go get this book and read it…you won't be disappointed!

Started off strong but due to the lack of details the last 2/3rd were a disappointment.
Maybe I have been spoilt with some other MC books which really get gritty and emotional as I may have loved this book had I not read the likes of madeline Sheehan first as the writers style of writing was good. An extra 100 or so pages explaining the mc rivalry/back story and the more development of the relationships between the main characters would have really got me feeling more involved with the book. I also found the fact cash was ready to become a dirty/rogue cop quite unbelievable as the story stands. One other gripe I can't picture the 'hero' aside from being long haired/bearded and Irish I can't remember what he is supposed to look like. I like to lust over the main man in the book which I didn't really with this guy so either he wasn't my type (mc eye candy is usually my type) or the author could have done more to get him to stand out.
I really feel this book had potential to be a great read rather than average, I loved the concept and the free sample I got from Amazon has me hooked so obviously the writer was doing a lot right. I will be tempted by the authors future works especially if they are mc/alpha.

What a fantastic read.
Don't make the mistake of thinking this is about one girl and two men, a love triangle because its not, its much more than that.
Ani just got on my wick sometimes and I wanted to slap some sense into her.
Knox! Knox! Knox! I am shouting his name in my head! A sexy hunk of a biker with an inner core of a soft heart, OMG what else does a girl need?

This author has got better and better at her writing. She's definitely an author to keep a very close eye on.

Reading her books is always a pleasure and I understand this is book 1. I can't wait for book 2.

I was gifted this book by the author for my honest opinion.

“What if you choose your path but fate decides it wants something different?"

The thing that initially drew me to Wild Heart was the trailer. Sexy Bikers, possible love triangle, and steamy scenes? Yes please! There were some things that I really liked about this book and some things that just didn’t work for me

When Aiyanna "Ani" Forrester first left for New York City to go to college, she left behind her family, friends, and her boyfriend Cash. She was heartbroken when Cash didn't want to leave with her and live out their life in the big city. 8 years later, Ani resigns from her job at the Federal Reserve and she returns to Coker Creek, Tennessee to take care of her sick father. When she runs into Cash for the first time in 8 years, he admits to making a mistake when he let her go. He wants Ani back in his life but Ani isn’t sure if she’s ready for that yet.

In the years that Ani has been gone, bikers are now living in town and things in Coker Creek have changed. Ani meets Knox and she intrigued by him. He is a hot, sexy, Irish biker. Despite his rough looking demeanor, Knox is sweet and kind. Knox isn’t the type of guy she is used to but they share an instant attraction. Even though she thinks Cash might be the better choice, she decides to give Knox a chance.

What I loved about Ani , was that she was smart, sweet, and head strong. Sometimes even a little bit innocent but she was never a push over. Knox and his MC world are completely new to her but he brings out a different side to her and the two together were, hot!! Cash was a sweet guy and you could tell he really loved and cared for Ani. She had a choice to make; does she stay with what she knows or go for something completely different?

“I can’t promise you a happy ending, darlin’; but happy endings are for p****es. I can promise you our own ending, the one that we get to create together. It’s not like anyone else’s and at times we might have to fight for it, fight for each other.

I wanted to love this story but it fell short in some ways, I felt as if something was missing. I was expecting a bit more relationship angst, but Ani makes her choice of who she wants to be with rather quickly. As much as I loved the characters, I wish that a bit more detail had gone into explaining the decisions that they made. There were a few dramatic moments but the story seemed a bit rushed in the middle of some tense moments. All in all, I did enjoy the characters and then ending left me very curious of what is going to happen next.

3 - 3.5 stars review to come

*sigh*
I guess I should just accept that I'm not into MC romances. The few that I've read so far (or tried reading only to end up putting them on my DNF shelve) were either too cheesy, too cliché or too unrealistic for my taste. Still, being a story about an MC wasn't by far the main issue I had with this book.

There were quite a few things that put me off.
The romance felt rushed and corny, especially in the first, say, 40% of the book. For example, on their first "date", the main characters, Ani and Knox, hardly knew each other, had barely spoken ten sentences in total, had just had an open air quickie against a cabin wall, and were already talking about future plans and what to expect from each other? And it didn't get better from there...
The sex scenes were awkward and seemed kind of forced. Nothing hot about them, so I just skipped them, and I NEVER do that. What is more, they never, not even once, thought or talked about protection of any sorts. Just got it on.
There were times when the story just dragged on and nothing really happened, except Ani repeating over and over in her mind why she wanted or didn't want to be with Knox or Cash. I found myself skimming more than once, only to get past those parts.
I didn't really like the main characters. There wasn't anything wrong with them per se, I think, but I couldn't connect with them. Maybe it was just me. (I'm totally Team Cash, btw, although I think he deserves better than Ani)

Despite not exactly loving the main characters, I did like some of the secondary ones. Cash, Rage, Charon, all of them acceptable even though they weren't overly well developed. I loved Ani's father, though. He was sweet.
Also, I enjoyed the suspense parts in this book, a lot more than the romance. At about 75%, things finally started to get a little more exciting, and that's why I'm giving it two stars instead of one.

I don't like giving bad reviews (this is actually my first review of a book I rated lower than 3 stars), but since everyone else seems to love this book, I thought it can't hurt to mention some of the things that weren't so great.
Won't be reading the sequel.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review by the author.

I loved this book.

When Ani Forrest gets a full scholarship to NYC she runs without looking back at who she's leaving behind. After her boyfriend Cash who she's know since they were tots, tells her he's not going with her. She leaves him behind along with her best friend Kate.

Ani only comes back when her dad gets sick. Cash thinks they can just pick up were they left off. But Ani is still mad at him. There's a group of biker's in town and Ani cant stop flirting with the Irish Prez Knox.

As I said I absolutely loved this. From the beginning it had me hooked. It was a really late night or very early morning reading this. I COULDN'T put it down. This book keeps you on your toes.

You just love Ani from the start. She's Strong, pretty, and knows what she wants. the relationship between her and Knox is hot, hot, hot. but part of being with know is being a part of the club good or bad.

And this has devastating consequences for Ani. I've got to tell you I cried, I felt like Screaming(very quietly considering what time I was reading it). This book pulls all the emotions from you.

At the beginning I wanted her to stay with Cash, but then we get to know Knox and yeah He's hot.

Jennifer Culbreth is extremely talented in her writing. The pace and flow of the writing was perfect. It enthrals you from the first page. At the bits where Ani is kidnapped it is written tastefully.

Jennifer Culbreth has fast become one of my favourite authors. And I can only predict great things for her. For anyone who has yet to read a Jennifer Culbreth Novel you really don;t know what your missing out on.

Jennifer, Thank you for letting me read this book. It is absolutely Fantastic. It is exceptionally written. And enthrals you from the first page. I can't wait for the next book.

I would give this 5/5 stars and 5/5 for movie moments.

The review below is for the initial release that I read 12/25/13 to 12/26/13. I have also reviewed the extended edition that released 2015.

I think I may have a thing for MC bad boys. There, I said it out loud. :)

I am having a bit of a hard time, because I have to say honestly, this was a great book. I was taken in from the start and could not put it down. I loved the story of Ani and how she let Knox into her life, even if it was the harder choice. Their story, though not traditional, was very sweet in their own way and you just wanted to fight for them and want, no demand they end up together.

I can't say anything bad about Cash, because he loved her too, but in this love triangle, I was totally team Knox. :)

I can't say to much about the plot, because it will give too much away. All I can say is this was a great story that pulls you in (I could not put the book down), however, and (this is where I have to insert I am having a hard time), because, this story is not hearts and flowers. There is, and this is not a spoiler as it clearly says this in the description of this book, it is about an MC, so there are some very hard, disturbing topics. However, the book was very good and Jennifer Culbreth knows how to tell a story.

So I would definitely give this 5 star and would recommend, if you are okay with the subject matter.

Happy reading.

This is a great story about growing up, coming home and finding out if you still fit in the same mold as the one you left. Ani and her parents have always been close when she looses her mom to cancer she makes sure she is always checking in with her dad. Lately he seems like he isn't his old self so Ani decides its time to come home. When she gets there she meets up with her old high school boyfriend who knows he screwed up when he let her get away but doesn't know how to get them back to where they once were. Also entering the picture is bad boy Knox who knows just what he wants and is willing to do anything to get it. As both men try and show Ani how they feel about her Ani has to decide does she want to go with her predictable past or the new man who makes her blood pump. This trio has more to contend with then both men fighting for her heart outside forces are looking to hurt them. This book takes you on a roller-coaster of love, lust, family and learning how to be comfortable in your own skin. Be forewarned though this does end on a cliffhanger because it is part of a series. I would highly recommend it though.

If your looking for a fantastic book to get lost in then this is certainly the book. Jennifer's writing sucks you right in and enables you to lose yourself in a book. I crave Jennifer's books so was honoured to beta read this gem of a book.

I so love a good love triangle and this book certainly gave me one. This is the story of Avi and the two men who would do anything for her, Knox and Cash. I loved both of these men and was so glad I wasn't the one choosing between these.
This is not just a story about a love triangle. Oh no. It is so much more. At times I wanted to throw my kindle and other times I needed to put the book down and just breath!!!
Thank you Jennifer for another fantastic book. I crave your books so please hurry and write some more for my addiction:)
I highly recommend this book.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

Aiyana "Ani" I felt was one confused girl at first. But she definitely matured as the book went on.
I loved Cash and the things he will do for Ani is something you look for in your lifetime!
Now, let's talk about Knox...HOLY HELL!!! I need KNOX!!! WOW! Who doesn't love a badass biker with a heart of gold???
There were a lot of ups and downs in this book and I enjoyed each and every one of them!

Who will Ani wind up with?

Please read and find out! Because I sure as hell am not telling!

I really enjoyed this book and gave it 4 solid stars. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I have...

Can't wait for more in this series!!!

Another EXCELLENT job Jennifer Culbreth!!

“Wild Heart” (The Wild Heart Series) by author Jennifer Culbreth was a surprise. To be honest I never really have read motorcycle books, however I really enjoyed this one. The heat between the main characters was intense. I also enjoyed the secondary characters and how the author used them to enhance the story. In fact I am hoping that most of them get their own stories. One of the things I really liked was a surprise that I was not expecting, no spoiler here, I really love these.
As a reader I can honestly say that I truly enjoyed the book and I will be looking for the next in the series.

I was lucky enough to be a Beta reader for this book and I have to say it was AWESOME!!! I absolutely love Jennifer Culbreth and her writing. I have to say when I first started ready this I was for Ani taking Cash back but when Knox came into the picture I completely fell in love with him and his character. This was an amazing read and I cant wait for the next one. I will say that the ending of this book is not for the faint of heart but the direction she went in with the ending made the book that much better. I loved it!!!

I'm a no spoiler kinda reviewer,

A beautifully written book by Jennifer Culbreth, I loved it, small time girl caught between two guy's, one from her past and a present Hottie who she has just met.

I loved the three main character's Knox, Ani, and Cash, they were all wonderfully written, this book has a great story line, which I found, funny, sad and exciting all wrapped up in one.

I totally recommend this book, you don't have to be a biker / biker chick, to love this book!!!

Aiyana is half Cherokee Indian and half white country girl.  After high school she moved away from her tiny town to New York City to find herself.  She left behind a boyfriend who refused to leave.  After a few years, she returns home.  She's caught between Cash, the boyfriend who never got over her and is now a cop, and Knox, the Irish motorcycle gang member.

The story takes place in Tennessee which is where I grew up, a tiny town in Tennessee.  So I can tell ya, all that muddin', moonshine, bonfires and all that goes with it is legit.  That's what you do when you've got dirt, trees and very few buildings.

Then, the story changes to something I have no personal knowledge in, motorcycle clubs.  It started out all exciting and fun, but quickly shit gets real.  And it continues to get real.  Not gonna go into anymore detail, but there are some fairly rough parts.

The story didn't end in a real cliff hanger, but it doesn't wrap up neatly either.  No word yet on when the next book comes out.

Happy reading.

Aiyana Forrest has returned to her small hometown after about ten years of college and working in the financial district in order to care for her ailing father. When she left for college, it was with a broken heart for Cash, because he didn’t share her dream of school in New York City. Now that she has returned, Cash plans to make amends and return Ani to his side. Life has changed in Coker Creek, Tennessee. During her trip into town to pick up supplies for some home repairs, Ani’s eye is drawn to a group of motorcycle riders. In particular, a big, bearded, tattooed guy she later learns is named Knox and is the president of the motorcycle club (MC) known as the Kings of Karnage. Knox is immediately taken with Ani, too, and knows she is her Lianhan Shee (Irish term for soul mate). Ani catches the attention of the president of a rival MC when she is at work and her association with Knox and the Kings have put them all in danger. Ani will need to make decisions for herself, for Knox, and for Cash.

This was my first MC romance. Because it is my first, I had to do some definition searches that I’ll share with you, in case you are also an MC virgin. A cut is the leather vest that the guys wear. Rockers are the patches on their cut, especially the ones that declare their club name and position. Since Ani was new to the MC, I thought the author lost an opportunity to educate us with Ani and her best friend, Kate.

I’m torn. It was an excellently written story (though it needed more editing), but I am such a hearts and flowers romantic, that I’m having a hard time with the bad-boy really being a bad guy. Then again, my husband had a motorcycle and I loved riding with him, but we were not in a club, not even a weekenders club. I’ve decided to read a few more before I decide if I can get into this different sub-genre or not. I will want to read the second book in this series once it is available. I need to check on my girls and find out who Butcher was talking about when… (no spoiler!). I will also say that I love Ani’s friend Kate. That girl is naturally wild and takes to the MC like a duck to water.

If you are more familiar with the MC romance books, what do I need to know? You can answer here or chat me up on Facebook.

I was given an ARC of the revamped Wild Hearts in exchange for a honest and timely review. Well I got the honest part but completely forgot to write the review in a timely fashion.

When Wild Hearts came out originally I grabbed it on a whim, I wasn't on my "biker book" kick at the time and Culbreth was an unknown author for me. As I read the book I enjoyed Ani and Knox and yes even Cash as characters. I felt they were strong characters that held their own without needing fluff or filler. The story line ran fast but smooth and I wasnt left with to many questions that I didn't think I would get the answer to in the 2nd book. I did though wishes that there was some sort of "closure" in the end for Ani. She was so broken but determined and I didn't want to wait for book 2 to see her make some progress. Ani just wants to come home take care of her dad and not fall back into routine. She left for a reason and isn't going to go back to the way that things were. She's a new women with goals bigger than her home town. Cash... Cash is the same just a cop now. He still wants Ani, still loves her, sees his mistakes and hopes he can change them. Knox is the new unknown for the town and Ani, he provides excitement and thrills as well as not falling back into the same old same old. It's a bit of a love triangle but not so much that you have a ton of conflicting feelings.

NOW the revamped version really runs the same. Same fantastic characters same great storyline but we are given a few different view points or more like flash backs or inner thoughts for the important character through the chapters. I liked this, knowing what they were really thinking or seeing that happy moment when so much nasty was going in in the present. Did this make the book smoother,no it didn't really need that but it's a nice added extra.
Now in the revamped version we get an extended ending. And I loved it! A bit of closure though I'm not sure who will benefit from it more him or her(ha see that I didn't give his name no spoilers here folks) and I still can't wait to see where Culbreth takes the next book.

All in all I really enjoyed the original version just as much as the new version. It's a strong book with characters that hold their own even if there are a few wishy washy moments for Ani, and you'd like to smack Cash and Knox but probably only once. Grammatical errors.... I don't remember any issues at all and I always seem to catch them so if there were any they were very small and easily read over.

I loved this book. I was lucky enough to work with Jennifer a little during her writing process, giving small snippets of commentary. I first read this in parts and slowly fell in love with the characters. Then once everything was put together I read my ARC copy of it and once again fell in love with all of the characters and learned why I loved Knox so much! Starting with her first book Protect Me, I have fallen in love with Jennifer Culbreth's way of writing. The way that she can pull you into the book and take you through this journey, falling in love with her characters. I was mad at them sometimes, heartbroken with them and laughing with them as well.

Aiyana or "Ani" grew so much throughout the book. She was very confused and unsure of herself, but she matured into this strong character. Then there is Cash, man who wouldn't want someone like him to care for you like he cares for Ani. He would be the perfect guy, but then there is Knox who is just so...oh man..so PERFECT! Okay not perfect because he has his faults. But I love a badass who loves with all he has. Who doesn't like a guy like that??? And to make him even better he is a biker! Not just A biker, but the leader in a bike gang! Fell in love with him even more!

Won't go into the plot too much because it will give away too much of the story but it involves one of my favorites: a love triangle! Poor Ani has these two men who adore her and care for her. Who does she choose? You just have to read the book to find out!!

The magic that is Jennifer's writing sucked me into their world and had me hooked from start to finish! I was so glad that i wasn't the one having to choose between these two wonderful men, even though at times it felt as if I was! I cannot wait to read more from the wonderful Jennifer Culbreth! <3 Thank you for allowing me to beta read for you!!

Below is my review from the initial release. I loved this book the first time I read it and loved the extended edition even more! There was more Ani, Cash and Knox! It was great to revisit the story, even as it broke my heart again, and get so much more. And that extended ending...wow! Loved it, but now there are more questions. I can't wait for book 2!

The review below is for the initial release that I read 12/25/13 to 12/26/13.

GOOD READ - Plenty of drama
Where to begin....
This book was given to me by Jennifer Culbreth, the author, in exchange for a honest review.
Wild Hearts is a Contemporary Romance with the main characters being:
Aiyana (Ani) Forrest, small town girl who moved to big city then must return back to her home town to be with her ailing father.
Cash Roberts, local police officer, ex-boyfriend of Aiyana who still loves her and wants her back.
Knox O'Connell, Irish born, president of local motorcycle club. Big, bearded, tattooed biker.

Ani has returned home to the small town she grew up in, after being away for ten years, to help her ailing father. Upon return Cash enters the picture wanting to rekindle their long ago romance. Even though Ani still has feeling for him the sparks are just not there. One day while in town, to pick up supplies, she notices a group of bikers down the street. One biker, in particular, catches her eye. Ani wants to know more about this mystery man. Now in walks Knox, biker boy, nothing like she has ever seen before.. They meet and sparks fly. Trouble brews between Knox's MC and a rival one especially. Drama unfolds...... (No spoilers)

The book is well written, with plenty of drama and kept my interest throughout. Knox and Ani story did end in a cliffhanger with leaves you wanting more. I will DEFINETLY read the next installment.
Just a note: It does contain sexual abuse, as in rape, and some strong violence..

Need something to soothe your SOA withdrawal? Then you must read Wild Heart!!

I was given a copy for an honest review and let me tell you, I loved it so much I jumped right onto Jennifer Culbreth's cheer train!

Aiyana,"Ani", had to go back to Coker Creek. Returning to her hometown where she had baggage that she was now going to have face. Friendships were tainted when she had left and then there was Cash. Cash was her first love and was always there for her, but her decision to leave did not sit well with him. He didn't understand why she needed to leave and she didn't understand just how much he needed her to stay.

Ani didn't know if she was ready to jump into her old life. Wasn't sure if seeing Cash would hurt her or ignite her desire for him once again. But Coker Creek had changed; new businesses, new people, and then there was The Kings of Karnage MC. Their presence intrigued Ani and there was one member in particular that caught her eye; Knox.

Knox is a sexy, confident smartass who has his sights set on Ani. But Cash also isn't willing to let her go. She was meant for him and he wasn't going to let some Biker ruin that! But it really wasn't their choice; it was Ani's.

A thrilling and suspenseful read that will have you hanging onto every word!

Brilliantly written and there is more to come from Jennifer Culbreth!

Reviewer: Angie - Magic Within The Pages
Rating: 5 Stars

Wild Heart is one HOT read! I had to wait 24 hours to write this review because it left me speechless. I read the last ¾ of this book in one day because I couldn’t put it down! Who could ask for more than the choice between a sexy sheriff, who you’ve known and loved since childhood, and the bad boy biker, who really isn’t such a bad boy? Ani has to make this decision. One means following her head, while the other means following her heart.

This story is told to us via the POV of Ani, Cash, and Knox. Ani is the main character. All she wanted when she was in high school was to get out of her small town and experience life in the city. Now that she is back, to take care of her father, she finds that life in a small town is far from boring. She is torn between falling back into her old life or venturing out to make a new life. Torn between a safe life or a life that could be dangerous to her and her loved ones.

As someone who loves a good love story, an Irish accent, and MCs, I would highly recommend Wild Heart! I will definitely be reading Starla, the next in the series, and many more books written by Jennifer Culbreth.

Ani is just coming back to Coker Creek after 8 years because her father's health is declining. Now faced with her first love who didn't support her choice to go to New York in the first place she has to decide if she can forgive him and rebuild a relationship with State Trooper Cash, or if new in town biker Knox is more fitted to who she is these days. And once she decides can she stand by her decision and her man? Even after some crazy and horrible things happen to her?

Ani is all about her family and that comes through when she just leaves new York to be with her father. Even though she's changed for the girl who left Coker Creek in some ways she still loves the mountains and town she grew up in. I loved her determination to follow her heart even if it wasn't the easiest of choices.

Cash is such a sweetie and knows he didn't do right by Ani when she left for New York all those years ago. He does everything he can to get Ani back but do they still have that special spark there after all this time?

Knox is trouble incarniate and being part of an MC he also has secrets. But Ani just pulls him in and he can't help but go after her, even though it's dangerous for her.

Will Ani find love in someone from her past or someone new? Warning Cliffhanfer ending.

A copy was given to me by the author for an honest review and I have to say that Jennifer Culbreth and I have to say that she sure knows how to write a book because so far the three that I've read from her have been great books.

This is an MC book about a girl who leaves her hometown to study in NYC and her high school boyfriend gets upset with her for leaving. She wanted him to go with her but he's always been a small town kind of guy and chose to stay.

When Ani returns to her hometown to care for her father, she comes to find out that Cash, her high school boyfriend and best friend was still waiting for her. She on the other hand ends up meeting Knox, the President of a motorcycle gang and she seems to find herself smitten with him and he with her.

She decides she wants to start new and gives Knox a chance but things start getting out control and she finds herself overwhelmed and scared of that life and doesn't know if that's the kind of life she wants to live. As much as she loves Knox, she is unsure if she can handle that kind of life. Will Ani chose to live the MC lifestyle or will she chose to return to her normal life with Cash?
