Rate this book
Attractive, affordable, and adorable, these miniature versions of popular Prestel titles are the perfect gifts. They’re packed with color, yet small enough to fit into a pocket or purse. They’re as inviting to the eye as they are to the wallet. And there are titles to suit every occasion, taste, and interest. Like all of Prestel’s products, these "Minis" feature amazing artwork of all kinds, elegantly designed and packaged. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, holiday, or just time for a pick-me-up, these miniature treasures prove that little things mean a lot.

a beautiful little photo-book
showing fabulous beetles of the world.

The first pages tell us a bit about why this book was made and some facts about beetles in general. Following are pages with photos of beautiful beetles on a white background just like the one on the cover.
Under/next to each photo the name and location of the beetle is given.

It it very simplistic,
but such beauties don't need any fancy layout or tests,
just look at the photos and marvel at what nature comes up with.

I owe this book for a long time and it is often my companion on trips,
it's a miniature treasure chest.

Appreciate the small things in life, be observant you will find the tiniest beauties everywhere and all around.

Total insect porn. It's hard to get all the way through this book without experiencing sensory overload. Fine photography of the most stunning subjects you could hope for.
