About the author

Jerry Bruce Jenkins is an American novelist and biographer. He is best known as the writer of the Left Behind series of books for Tim LaHaye and The Chosen novels to accompany his son Dallas's TV series. Jenkins has written more than 200 books, including mysteries, historical fiction, biblical fiction, cop thrillers, international spy thrillers, and children's adventures, as well as nonfiction. His works usually feature Christians as protagonists. In 2005, Jenkins and LaHaye ranked 9th in Amazon.com's 10th Anniversary list of Hall of Fame authors based on books sold at Amazon.com during its first 10 years. Jenkins now teaches writers to become authors here at his website. He and his wife Dianna have three sons and eight grandchildren.

Why I like about this book

I like that the writer captured and brought to life what the ends times will be like when the church is removed and the 7 years of tribulation starts. It scared me because so many people will be left behind but it also remind me that we as followers of Christ have to tell people about God. I love the left behind movie starting Kirk Cameron but this book just make it so real.

Great Tribulation

Things have gotten quite more serious. If you think Carpathia has been evil so far, wait and read next book. This book foretells of things getting a lot worse. On another note, I was sad to see Charlie stay with the farmer and his wife. Hopefully it’s not the end of us seeing him.

The Two Witnesses

Must read must read! This series keeps getting better and better. It’s like the Bible coming to life! I don’t want this series to end but It will. However, if you trust in our lord Jesus Christ as your savior, after this earth ends, we Christian will be with Christ Forever and ever in the World Without End.

This was another solid installment of the series. As with previous books, I think the plague was handled better here than in the adult series. The plots were interesting, though certain plots bored me after a while (namely, those having to do with Israel). I liked seeing character growth in some long-time minor characters and hope they get to become larger factors moving forward.

Another great one, this one covers the end of the two witnesses preaching. We said goodbye to some characters. You never go wrong with the Left Behind series (the kids or regular).

I love this series. I plan to be gone when these events happen. Reading this gives me the chills. Realistic and frightening - at least for unbelievers. God wants a harvest. It won't come easy.

Things are heating up.

The tension mounts. The prophesies are becoming filled in fantastic ways. We don't rear know how these Biblical prophesies will be fulfilled, but it is so fascinating to read these books and get Aran idea how it could.
