Interesting tales told in this book from the Otoe tribe. It shows many thoughts and beliefs different from my own. It gives me pause to be grateful to hear such tales. Something of a wonder is found in these tales.
Overall, this is a collection of stories written from the perspective of a father telling bedtime stories and legends to his children. It holds your attention like one of the children mentioned. You should give it a read, thus letting yourself know tales from a different perspective.
This is a great book of Native American legends that are told as childrens bed-time stories. Bet you don't know how the bobcat lost his tail! Also has a few drawings.
