This book was filled with useful information and knowledgeable tips from the man, Tom Rosenbauer. I doubt I've brought more fish to net (not the book's fault), but I do feel more confident in reading streams and gained a deeper understanding of how trout feed. Rosenbauer covered a lot of ground in this one!

Rosenbauer has a comfortable writing style and presents information in a well organized format. Provides a good foundation in many techniques where others may be more detailed in specific areas such as nymphing or streamers, this book covers a wide variety of how to read the stream, how holding patterns vary, how to work through various presentations, etc. Like all Orvis publications it is filled with beautiful photos and illustrations.
