Very clear book. Never knitted socks? No worries. She explains everything step by step, no matter what needles you prefer (double pointed, magic loop or small cable needles). She explains about sock yarn, swatch making and how to calculate size. Her tone is warm and funny. I’m sure you can find it all online but I’m very happy with this book, I bought the E-book which only cost 7 euro’s. I’ve knitted for over 30 years and finally started making socks. Addicted!

Great book, able to add notes on the ebook version re; stitch counts for different sizes. Pattern easy to understand, knit and alter sock sizes so everyone in the family can own a pair of gorgeous handmade socks. I refer to this book every time I knit which is most days. Christine Perry is a lovely, helpful lady. Always available if you get stuck! I highly recommend this book to everyone wanting to have a go at sock knitting.
