Dirty Bad #2

Dirty Bad Savage

Rate this book
They say Callum Jackson's a savage. No home. No prospects. No self-restraint. He's red-flagged on my system, a grade-1 aggression risk, totally off limits for a woman like me. But the rules don't allow for my dangerous games; they don't bend for my twisted desires. Callum Jackson is the most beautiful beast. A beast I can't stop thinking about, can't stop wanting, can't stop hunting... ...I just pray to God this beast bites. Sophia Harding runs a tight ship. She may work in the dregs of housing association slums, but her patch is on the way up. Anti-social behaviour is down, employment is on the rise, and she's even been shortlisted for estate manager of the year. It's looking good. Really good. Until Callum Jackson completes his jail time and lands right back on her doorstep. She could do without a guy like him on her a failure of the system and a pain in the fucking ass. She should tick the boxes, do her job and keep her distance – that's what the handbook says. The handbook says no one-on-one contact, no at-risk situations, no direct confrontation of any kind. But the handbook doesn't know of her craving for hardcore submission. The handbook has no fucking idea how she yearns to unleash Jackson at club Explicit, where his savage can really run wild. The handbook doesn't know shit... Warning - this book is exactly what it says on the tin. It's dirty, it's bad, and it's certainly savage. Although everything in this novel is entirely consensual, it may contain practices some readers may well find offensive. Please proceed with caution. Most certainly 18+

5 Hardcore Loving Stars ⭐

Every so often a person needs that chance to find their place in the world. Or in this instance that one person to provide them with a life altering opportunity.

"Someone like me don’t deserve this shit. Was born for the streets. Born for cold fucking nights and scrabbling for food. Fighting, and stealing and surviving best I can, not for this."

Callum Jackson, ex-con, young, destitute and desperate. Back in the estates of South London, the daily grind is filled with desolation, paying off debts and illegal art. He is consumed with anger and frustration that pours out from his soul.

"He was close. Too close. Close enough to scare me. And close enough that I could smell him. He smelt wild: of sweat and damp and pure fucking rage."

Although from a privileged background, Sophie chooses to work in the management of housing estates. She is not oblivious to the poverty and hopelessness these places omit. Dealing with the tenants is the norm until she encounters Callum. And the snarling savage is everything she should fear instead of be looking for.

"I don’t want to hurt you, but I will. Don’t think I won’t."

Dangerous. I was alone, out of my depth, threatened by someone with no limits, no restraint, no fucking safe word.

Sophie is constantly craving. More pain, more pleasure, more release, real excitement. It makes her reckless and puts Callum directly in her path. Sophie shouldn’t be attracted to this younger man for obvious reasons, yet she is. An exchange of trust, and Callum discovers her vices. It introduces him to a new world filled with hope and new beginnings. And he becomes everything she’s wished for…

"You like playing with the savage, don’t ya? Like being fucking scared."

Dammit, my heart ached through this book. There was something completely vulnerable and lost about Callum that hit home. I’ve never experienced this level of hardship and to see him struggle with simple kindness was too much. Jade West could not have given us a better heroine than Sophie. She radiated goodness and perversion which was spot on. Admittedly I could have done without the dumpster scene…but I was mentally prepared for this series!

4 Filthy Stars!

For the second book in this series, the author tells the story of Callum, a rough, young, homeless man that is known for his street art, and Sophie, the estate manager from an extremely wealthy family. The two could not have come from more different worlds, but are drawn to each other. This is a X-rated, opposites attract love story.

Sophie is drawn to Callum because of his tough, savage nature. As a girl that gets off on pain, she craves the danger that Callum emanates. She's playing with fire when she hires him to be her "security" during her hotel room trysts with a Dom that she met online. All the while, she's really just trying to raise his interest.

Finally, her antics work. From that point forward, Callum and Sophie are consumed with one another. Their sex life was hot and definitely dirty.

Meanwhile, their relationship was growing increasingly intimate. What started out as just sex and physical attraction, quickly morphed into something far more emotional in nature. In no time, the two are playing house and all seems perfect.

Of course, just when things seem to be going perfect, something will happen to mess it all up. Sophie's fear of her overbearing, and highly judgmental, family drives a wedge between them. She does something that opens up old wounds for Callum and nearly ruins everything they built together.

Ultimately, things work out the way I wanted. There is a HEA in store for these two. It all works out nicely in the end.

I really enjoyed this dirty tale. It was surprisingly sentimental. Yes, it was definitely dirty, in an "eating from garbage cans", gritty sort of way. However, there is a real compelling love story here, with fantastic characters and a great storyline. If you aren't turned off by a little crudeness and filth, then this book is definitely worth a read.

One boy,One girl.....
When two worlds collide....

Callum ,20,jobless,homeless,surviving in a rough area...

Sophie ,28,born into a privileged life...

Sophie is an Estate Manager for the area Callum grew up it.He has just been released from prison when they meet....
Callum has grown up on a housing estate in a poor area of London and struggled all his life to survive.He had dreams of becoming an Artist when he was young only to be ridiculed for it by his mother.Sophie comes from a wealthy background and has defied her parents to do a job she loves.

Sophie is a submissive and a member of the BDSM club Explicit.She is increasingly finding she is not getting the usual thrill from this and is craving more...something more dangerous...
Callum enjoys rough sex but has not been interested in the BDSM lifestyle until he meets Sophie.

This Sophie Harding was fuck all like the woman I'd first met...She looked hot.Really fucking hot.

Likewise,Sophie has never met anyone like Callum..

He's a beautiful tragedy.A beautiful Savage.The way he looks at the world,the way he paints....the way he loves

This book started of as a definite 5 Star for me but in the end I felt in was on a par with book one,hence the same rating.For me it wasn't heavily into BDSM as much as book one ( not that,that's a bad thing ).While Sophie knew what she wanted,Callum was unsure of her desires initially and I felt with him it was more about rough,dirty sex rather than BDSM.I think the Author portrayed very well how two people from totally different backgrounds can connect.Callum was a rough,animalistic character but also had a fierce loyalty and a vulnerability about him.The sex scenes were raw,passionate and dirty and like in book one there were scenes that were risky and one in particular that I didn't like

I loved that Masque and Cat were included in this book and I loved Rebecca even more in this one,she had such a loyalty to her friends and a total belief in Callum as an Artist

Overall I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down.I loved Callum and Sophie individually and as a couple
Would I recommend this series...definitely!!!

Genre: Erotica
Type: Standalone Book 2 of Dirty Bad Series
POV: First Person - Dual
Rating:

Sophie Harding came from a high society family. However, instead of following the golden path of her family empire, she went out to do what her heart wanted and became an estate manager in the slum. Unfortunately her job was going to get harder with the return of a notorious resident.

Callum Jackson was young with trouble written all over his beautiful face. With no money and no prospect, his future was as blurred as his past. But Sophie saw something in him that could open up a whole new world for both of them.

Someone like me don’t deserve this shit. Was born for the streets. Born for cold fucking nights and scrabbling for food. Fighting, and stealing and surviving best I can, not for this. Not for someone like her.

Callum is the kind of character I'd always have a soft spot for. Circumstances forced him to be hard in order to survive. He was rough around the edges but with a soft, vulnerable core. Also the bond between Callum and his dog melted my cold heart.

Even though grew up with silver spoon, Sophie was kind and down to earth. She had specific needs and knew how to get it satisfied. I like her overall even though there were times I wanted to smack her.

Compared to other books in the series this one had good amount of the bad, but lower on the dirty. The story focused more on the characters than the kinky sex. Don't get me wrong, the dirty was hot but on the milder side of crazy haha! But I don't mind as much because it fit the characters' background and I love the dynamic between them and I especially love his life story.

“I like it when you scare me...”

Dirty Bad Savage is a story of defiance and survival of two people bound by their needs. It would appeal to readers looking for dirty, sexy story with a dose of reality.

Dirty Bad Savage gives us a raw, honest look at fierce love. When Sophie meets Callum she little realizes how her life is going to change. Callum’s irresistible dark mystique intrigues her, awakens her darker side and provokes her untamed sexual urges.

Facts about Callum: Callum is younger than her. Callum is very poor, loveless and jobless. Callum is not into hardcore ‘BDSM’, until he meets Sophie and everything in his life comes upside down.

Facts about Sophie: Sophie is successful in her job. Sophie lives a comfortable life, in a rich neighborhood. Sophie craves to be sexually dominated, she has her own kinks, fantasies and desires and she needs a dom to make her lose control.

The chemistry between them is electric, animalistic, lustful!! Sophie initiates him in the BDSM lifestyle hoping he can be the dom she so desperately needs in her life and in her heart. What she doesn’t expect is that Callum proves to be a natural dominant alpha male, a savage beast “natural real” dom.

She feels she has a real need for him, a craving to be the one who’s there when her perverse thoughts become reality. And Callum doesn’t disappoint her. He is what she needs and so much more. Although Callum’s life is complete opposite of hers and he lives in the darkness of poverty and street violence, he is the one who protects her and satisfies her needs.

Callum takes control, degrades her and humiliates her. He pushes her limits and boundaries but without ever going too far and break them. When the two worlds collide, when Callum experiences rejection and when poverty threatens his life, Sophie’s love makes him feel rich! And her love isn’t unrequited because Callum gives her back the savage love she desires and needs.

One final note!!!! Callum’s BDSM coaching by Masque ( Dirty Bad Wrong ). You definitely don’t wanna miss that!!!!!

This story was hot and raunchy! Prose and dialogue were skillfully woven together, the pacing was mostly okay and the character development was exceptional. The plot was a nice idea and had no flaws in the execution. In the beginning, I have to admit I felt weird about the younger dom/older sub element, but the author did an excellent job in delivering the story.

The author has a good handle on the lifestyle – the sensations, the power play, and the trust elements involved. This book definitely worked for me!!

Got to say Jade West writes the best warnings!!

***Warning***

As readers of Dirty Bad Wrong will already be aware, I don’t use my warnings lightly.
This book, like its predecessor, does exactly what it says on the tin.
It’s dirty, it’s bad, and some parts of the book are pretty damn savage.
There will be sexual practices some readers may well find offensive.
All of the acts within this book are performed by sane, fully consenting adults.
Please don’t try some of this at home people!
Thank you so much!

P.S. If you're sick in your mouth all over again, please don't blame me. I did warn you. »

So... Dirty Bad Savage is not as shocking as the first book but pervy Shanny still enjoyed it! ;)

This is such a multi-faceted story -

• Kink & some BDSM (much less than in book one IMHO)

• A small piece of the sex club from book one.

• Friendships.

• A dog that I dare you not to fall in love with.

• A touching love story where complete opposites in circumstances find completion in each other's unconventional needs and gives.

• One lives a double life hiding in the shadows of dark needs at night while trying to live up to what's expected in the open; the other trying so hard to survive that needs and wants are foreign thoughts. Then they meet.

• Dirty. Bad. Savage.

Every single plot point has an intro.. A climax... A resolve. Perfect 5 star story arc.

Writing

Fantastic. I felt and saw everything. The author doesn't tell... She shows. She lays it bare for you and it's up to you if you can handle it or not. I love that.

You aren't given a check sheet for you to define the characters by. The characters themselves show you who they are and who they evolve into.

The MMC is a masterpiece. I loved the soft, vulnerability constantly mixing with the hardened, street-worn side of him.

The FMC is great. I would've liked to have had more insight on her shift from sub/pain to her other sexual sides he seems to open for her.

My hard limits and tastes are pretty clear cut, and this author often brings me to the very edge of what makes the difference between an enjoyable reading experience and something that ruins the story for me. For example, there's another woman scene in the last ten percent of the book, an incident that would normally ruin the entire book for me. Here, however, it felt like it was necessary to complete that storyline and how far it went was something I was okay with.

In other words, the author pushes the envelope without setting the fucker on fire. But, I will say that my stance on things like OW differ greatly in dark erotica than in YA, NA, stand-fare romance, etc niches.

** Safety gang: 3 OW scenes here with various levels of intimacy and contact. None of it is cheating or betrayal. 3 OM scenes, which are not cheating or betrayals.

** As another warning, this author seems to like to write a couple of scenes that just leaving your jaw dropped to the ground. In book one, it was a piss scene and a gut-wrenching (literally) blowjob from hell scene. Suffice to say that the author has her two scenes here as well. And not a chance in hell will I give you a spoiler other than to say I've NEVER seen either in any other book.

Pacing is a mixture of fast and furious and slow burn. The author likes to tease and taunt at times;)

There were a couple of typos, but nothing distracting by any means.

There was only one hole / mistake and it's minor. He took his tshirt off twice in this scene:

"His hoodie cast aside, his t-shirt, too." Location 2303 and then "His t-shirt sailed across the bench." Location 2327

Humor?

I don't know if I'm one fuckaloop'd'lou or not, but all through this serious love story and steamy kink fest, I'd find myself occasionally chuckling lightly....

When the MMC meets a masked character from book one.

"And then I bought that fucking steak."

"I watch TV while some guy beats the shit out of you?" "It will sound worse than it is."

"Whips, floggers, canes, take your pick." "I won't be needing any of that shit."

When the FMC steps on the condom.

~ Hehehe,~ says my warped mind.

Note To AUTHOR

"I kept pace, pulling her along until she stopped in the middle of the road, giggling like a retard.

I realize that the word "retard" will not bother everyone. To me, it's an insult. I have a child who's mentally and physically disabled. I don't appreciate the word in medical terminology, but I despise it being used out of context, such as it is here to describe a drunk whore acting like a twit. Comparing innocent minds who've a medical issue beyond their control to such makes my blood boil. So, this is more of a request, a personal address, to the author to be mindful of how offensive the word is to those of us who either are or care for someone with a mental disability.

Sophie Harding is a 28-year-old hard working real estate manager by day and an edge slut by night. She craves sex hard and rough and now that her Dominant of choice is taken, she is searching for someone to fulfill her needs. Sophie isn’t ashamed of her kinky side but she isn’t quite willing to break out from under her parents’ financial hold and prude expectations.

Callum Jackson is 20-year-old street savvy convict from the wrong side of the tracks. Upon being released from jail, he returns to his neighborhood homeless and disowned by his unloving mother. Despite being down on his luck and always told he wouldn’t amount to anything, Callum tries to survive by taking odd jobs to help pay his mate’s debt. Callum’s reprieve is his loyal dog, Casey, and his art.

description

While working in her patch (subsidized housing section), Sophie is notified that the infamous Callum Jackson was released from jail and that he may be causing trouble. When Sophie first lays eyes on Callum she can feel the dirty, rough, savage edge that he emits and it excites her in all the right places. Of course his good looks and hard body adds to her attraction. Inevitably, they get into a sticky situation and Sophie stands her ground to help Callum. Since he isn’t used to goodwill, he doesn’t know how to react to her. From that point, they form a unique bond that grows between Callum and Sophie.

“It’s you and me now,” I said. “We stand tall, we stand together. I’m going to be there tomorrow, with you, at your side. That’s where I belong.”

While Dirty, Bad, Savage had some incredibly hot moments the prevailing plot was about friendship and love. I certainly didn’t expect Callum to melt my heart but he did. All his life, he only had one person that encouraged him and his art but with such low self-esteem, he couldn’t fathom ever breaking through. I was able to feel his desperation and sense of hopelessness and it hurt. However, an encouraging element was the friendship between Callum and Bex (Mistress Raven.) We discover a common bond they share and because of her encouragement, Callum is given a rare opportunity.

Overall, I enjoyed this book, but I was hoping for a little more dirty, bad, savage sex! (I’m kinky like that! Lol!) I really liked the further development of Raven’s background, as for me she is an anchor character to the series. I was also thrilled when Masque appeared in the story! One of my favorite elements of Jade West’s books is her knack for dialogue. I always feel like I’m part of the Club Explicit gang out for a night of drinks and kinkery. I also like her ability to write real characters. Nobody is perfect in her books. If you’re looking for a sexy and heart warming story, Dirty Bad Savage may be right for you!

4.5 Savage Stars

Callum and Sophie's story was intense. I didn't expect anything less by Jade West as I really love the writing style. There were some moments that were yucky and a repetition of events between James and Lydia. I liked the artistic side of Callum and how his life turned around. The ending was perfect and kinda sweet. Additionally, I liked the fact that their age-gap was toned out so after few pages you don't even notice it. Older woman - younger man tropes aren't my thing, so I'm really happy that it was just mentioned and not being repeated again and again.

Jade West did it again !! Yep second book, second winner for me

description

Dirty Bad Savage wax IMO totally different from the first book.
While book 1 was with a lot of BDSM element, here we only got a few, or at least they are hidden behind other practices.

Callum Jackson is no master, nor Dom. Nope he's just a kid, freshly out of prison. The guy never had luck. He lives in the wrong part of the town where everything is dark, and where you have to fight for money, to eat or even to find a place to stay.

An unexpected meeting with Sophie Harding, an estate manager will change his life.

description

Sophie Harding is a submissive but ever since the very skilled Masque found his match, she never really found what she needed.
Sophie wants it rough, she wants it bad, she wants it dirty and what's she's gonna get is savage

What I liked about this little one is how different from the first it was.
I really thought we would stay completely in the BDSM scene. This story is not about how Callum discovers and evolves to become a master. Nope they are more depths to Dirty Bad Savage.

They are more layers to Callum than what you could think when meeting him for the first time. Yes the guy has a dark side. He lives in the street, doing small jobs, trying to find a way to survive for the next day but he is also very thoughtful, and you can also see his soft side right away.

Callum wants only one thing : To belong
Sophie is the same. Being in a wealthy family, she doesn't feel comfortable. The only place where she feels right to be is at Explicit.

While becoming closer to each other, Callum and Sophie will explore their sexual attraction.

description

Expect some very dirty sex scenes but not too uncomfortable, not as wrong as the first one ;)

Dirty Bad Savage gathers all the characters from the first book and I really liked getting to know that everything is fine in their world.

As for Sophie and Callum, both of them have a lot of obstacles to overcome. Everything set them apart, yet they quickly need to be together.
Jade West delivered a book full of passion, of envy, of hope, of acceptance. And I would definitely recommend it if you liked the first one.

3 Hurt Me Stars!
 photo image.jpg1_2.jpg

Callum just released from prison. He's homeless, starving and jobless. While locked up his bitch of a mother pawned off his dog to some bad people. He wants his fucking dog back!
He's pissed and is fighting a former friend about it. This is nothing new to Callum. He has always lived on a housing estate in a poor area of town with his shitty mother. This is how he meets Sophie.
Sophie is an estate manager where Callum grew up. She's out doing her rounds when she spots two men fighting. She can't take her eyes off of them. She knows she needs to call the police and report this. When the fight is over she comes face to face with Callum. Instead of calling the police she decides to help him get his dog back. After she sees him with his dog she's thinking she did the right thing.
 photo 7Yjf9zZxQmSwU.gif

She also gets his number so she can check on the dog. But is that all Sophie really wants??

Sophie is a member at Explicit a BDSM club. While at the club she is finding that her needs aren't being met. She seeks out another. She also needs a body guard in case things get out of hand. She offers Callum the job. Callum is confused by this. He cant believe that the rich girl Sophie likes it rough. He's very confused by all this and also turned on. He leaves in a rage. When she asks him to do it again things end very differently.
Sophie and Callum form a friendship that turns into more.
I liked how this book started off. I loved that Callum was an artist. I loved his friendship with Vicky and her son. I loved that he was finally going to get a chance to show his work legally. I however really was tired of hearing baby and kid coming out of Ravens mouth. lol
 photo 8fCZj4XKfplDi.gif
I hated what Sophie did to him when her sister came over.
I loved that Masque and Cat made an appearance. I loved that Callum wasn't sure about everything in Explicit. See I loved a lot in the book. lol
After reading DBW I knew going into DBS that I was probably going to be gagging. lol She did not disappoint! I gagged a few times during a few scenes. lol
There was a scene involving milk....
 photo WWajWw6e4fJMA.gif
that had me doing this!!
 photo 11GjssT8UUCHao.gif
Over all I really liked this book. I just didn't love it. I felt the ending was rushed and I didn't feel the love. Ugh! It seems I'm always saying that any more. lol
If you like it dirty, raw and so gagging bad this is a book for you. Hope you enjoy it if you read it:))

It's Dirty. It's Bad. It's Savage.

This isn't your normal erotica. This is a dark and gritty story of a submissive looking for her perfect Dom. Sophie wants the release that pain and sex gives her, but she can't find her safe yet rough Dom. When she meets Callum she can't get him out of her mind and thinks he will be the one to finally give her what she craves.

Callum just got out of prison and is back to his old ways. Homeless, jobless, and in debt to a group of guys you don't want to mess with, the only thing he has in the world is Casey, his dog. When Sophie comes around and offers him money for "security" he takes it without question. He never thought the job would entail listening to the prim and proper Sophie get her rocks off from being hit and degraded.

This was a very taboo, dark read that is different than most books out there. It was sexy and just downright wrong at sometimes but I couldn't put it down. I kept wondering what else the author had in store for us and let me tell you, it is not for the faint of heart.

I liked the story but it seemed to be missing something for me to really enjoy it. I wanted more of a romance between Sophie and Callum instead of just the sexual tension. We got to see more of Masque and Cat and I loved that! I think that I went into this expecting a story similar Masque's and this was really different. This wasn't a super great book for me but I am already excited to read the next story Jade West has for us.

Whoa!!!!! I knew what I was in for because I have read Dirty Bad Wrong, but this book rocked my world! Dirty Bad Savage is so different from Jade West's first book. I am still reeling from it. While the first book was hardcore BDSM this book developed differently. It was not what I expected; it was so much more.
Sophie is a submissive, but you wouldn't know it. She frequents Explicit often, searching for the rush only BDSM can offer her. There is one problem though; lately she hasn't been feeling satisfied after her usual scenes. She searches something different. And she finds it in the place she least expected it. Her job as an estate manager is something her family loathes but not her. It is through that job that she meets Callum Jackson.
Callum is very young but with a very bad reputation. He is rough, rugged and technically homeless. When he returns to his neighborhood after years in prison he does whatever he has to survive.
An unusual encounter brings Callum and Sophie together and after that everything changes.

 photo 11121686_10204810991529299_109801232_n_zpst3doky3u.jpg

Callum is not polished. He is like a raw diamond in Sophie's eyes. She is attracted to him; she wants him. Callum is not a man she could ever introduce to her family. He is not made of their cloth.
Their relationship is explosive and unorthodox, but will it last?
The author did something amazing with this book; she took two completely different people and made them perfect for each other. Callum and Sophie couldn't be more different but they click.
I loved that the story is not about two people who have had it easy. No, it shows poverty, the struggle to survive and it shows how cruel people can be when they've had it easy. It shows us love, friendship, loyalty but with a touch of kink. The story incorporates a lot of different elements and the result is a rich book, full of real, imperfect heroes! Simply amazing.
Another thing that made me love this so much is...Wait for it..., Masque makes several appearances throughout the book! Yes, sir! You heard that right. I was ecstatic when I first realized it! His character plays the catalyst in a way. He definitely opens up Callum's eyes. I loved it.
I consumed this book in one day. I totally recommend it if you loved the author's first book. If you like edgy stories with complicated characters, then this is for you.
A warning; this book IS Dirty Bad Savage! If anything but vanilla makes you icky, stay away. If not, then enjoy the ride!
I cannot wait to see what other stories Jade West has in store for us.

5 Savage Stars!!!

“I didn’t follow procedure.”
He dropped his eyes to the floor. “Don’t normally have much to say thanks for. Not used to it.”
“Is that your way of apologising?”
He shrugged. “Not much good with sorry.”
“Nor with a decent thank you, seemingly.”

their interaction in the first half were stinking cute🍯🍯

”You won’t ever take risks like that, will you?” I said. “Promise me.”
He laughed, louder this time. “Jesus, Sophie Harding, what’s this? Proposal, like?”
“I want you alive.”
“I’m alive with you,” he mumbled. “Weren’t alive sometimes before.”

🪖 few things i didnt like was the (though not everyone will see them as this way) menage-ish thingy between sophie-masque-cat-callum-raven.

🪖 it just went downhill after half in imo. not much, just 0.6 stars or so, i still finished after all (w/ almost no skimming other than the yawnfest bdsm stuff about EVERYONE).

🪖 another thing is that i wouldve been muuch more than ok had this not been a bdsm book. or like, it is a lil bit (coz that was an interesting touch for sophie’s plot, hiring callum as security and stuff), but i hated it when they started following masque-cat’s path after we hit the 50% mark. that “demonstration” from masque & cat?? noooo. wish that part of the book (bdsm between sophie-cal) didnt exist, me just think they wouldve been much more interesting if they were just wild fucks fucking, no bdsm shit hovering every single time.

🪖 like i said, before we got past to the last half of the book, i was so sure this gon be a solid 4. but it just wasnt. lots of aspect weakened after it including the callum jackson i so adored in the first half, their cuteeee relationship (more so coz of cal) and sophie as a female lead. it just got less and less engaging afterwards. not rlly bcs the story dragged per se (objectively), the plot made enough sense (objectively), i just wasnt a fan (and sure as hell not a cm close to being satisfied) by the execution after THE FREAKIN LAST HALF.

🪖 ps. w the 5sec we spent in mosque-cat’s presence i just KNOW theyre THAT couple. the boring as fuck one. thats why scenes w them grated on my nerves sm it made me so uninterested in anyones sex scenes that showed afterwards. soph constantly getting wet in masque’s presence & cal’s inner monologue ab raven/cat were so fucking annoying.

5 STARSSS

okay I was supposed to start Heartless and my friend couldn't believe that i haven't read this series. So she passed me her copy of this book the next day and told me to read it asap. i knew that the heroine was actually older than the hero but the blurb really captured me attention, so yep i read it. and holy shit, Callum's a true savage. this one was a true filthy and dirty (and honest) kind of romance and i sure as hell didn't regret sacrificing my sleep time for it!!

I really loved Sophie's character here. She's a submissive, needing the pain to feel free and to be herself. The warning is real because it's extreme & so very wild... Being Jade West's work, there were a few scenes that were rather ahem..

Callum had a shitty life. he's someone that lived on the streets and had nobody except his cat. I loved how he referred Sophie as his home, so yes, despite the savage he is, there's still some love in him 😌

“Never needed nothing, not from anyone. Not like this. I need this, Soph. Can’t fucking lose it.”

5 stars!!!

3.75 "Only Live Once" Stars I'm definitely a fan Jade West's after having read Dirty Bad Wrong. Savage was another winner West and I'm pleased to hear she's writing one more in the Dirty Bad Series. West knows how to make a reader wide eyed and squirming but still wanting more. I was hoping to hear more about Kat and Masque in Savage, it also took me a minute or two to catch up with the slang terms used but it's a solid story overall. I'm ready for more, Dirtier, Badder and whatever else Jade's twisted erotic mind brings us!

Wow Jade has managed to blow me away again with Dirty Bad Savage. This one is so different to the first book but just as well written and kept me gripped throughout the whole book.

The story line is amazing, Callum Jackson has lived a rough life, thrown out of home at 14 years, lives on the streets, been to prison and fights everyday to survive. Callum loves two things in his life Casey who he puts before his own needs and his painting.

Sophie lived a privileged life, coming from a posh family with loads of money.

Is Callum enough for Sophie and will she be proud to stand side by side with her savage ?

Always with Jade's book Dirty Bad Savage is exactly that.

There are two words to describe this book,the first Amazon won't let me use,the second is BRILLIANT.
the whole story was one hell of a rollercoaster ride that pulled you in and never let you go.
Jade has the ability to bring all the characters to life but Callum's WOW it was savage.
For me the best book I've read in 2015 and just can't wait to read more.

If you read Dirty Bad Wrong, then you know to heed the warning on Ms. West’s books. This one was exactly the same. Dirty. Bad. Savage. And I loved it!

“A gorgeous monster. A savage. An ungrateful, vicious, dangerous savage.”

Sophie loves sex rough – the rougher the better. She craves the pain she gets from the BDSM world. As a member of club Explicit, she usually gets what she needs. But lately, she can’t seem to find it.

“That’s the rush we all crave, that reverence in someone else’s eyes. Knowing that right then you’re everything…their master, their lover, their fucking god.”

Enter Callum Jackson. He is a criminal. He is everything that Sophie shouldn’t want. He’s dangerous, a savage. But she can’t seem to stay away. She is drawn to him. The two together are hot as hell.

“I’m going to ride that dick so hard, Savage, so fucking hard…” “Fuck yeah,” he growled. “Show me what you’ve got.”

This story is definitely dark and dirty. There are parts that may turn you off, but for me it didn’t detract from the amazing story behind it. Because this story is so much more than dirty, kinky sex. It’s the story of two lost souls, finding each other and figuring out how to make it work.

I loved watching Callum open up, becoming the man he was deep down inside. I loved his relationship with his dog, Casey. I really enjoyed watching Sophie blossom into the person she was as well, instead of putting up appearances. Raven was one of my favorite parts of this story and I loved that we got to see Masque and Cat again as well. Another phenomenal read from Jade! ~ Tiffany, 5 stars

This story is very different from book one. The story happens more outside of the club, and is a bit more “everyday” and “real life”.

Sophie is a property manager by day, and a pain slut by night. She belongs to a BDSM club, but is getting bored. When she is out looking for the “right” bad boy, she has no idea what she is about to get into.

Callum is the bad boy. He is more misunderstood than actually bad, but he does have his moments where he also deserves a good spanking. He is also an artist and a natural dominant.

When he and Sophie decide not to hold back on their attraction, his natural need for control is enough to make Sophie want to come back for more. Their time at the club is brief, but scorching hot.

There are some parts of this book that were beyond my comfort zone (alleyway scene) but that did not affect my review at all. The story and the writing speak, once again, for themselves and will hold you captive the entire time.

I do wish there were more scenes in the club as Sophie used to be a regular, and Callum seemed to fit right in. Masque and Cat, among others, from Dirty Bad Wrong made appearances and I can only hope we get more stories from Jade. ~ Devlynn, 4.5 stars

~~~
Callum Jackson—homeless, unemployed, just released from jail, and so dangerously tempting. He’s the guy your mama warns you about. He’s dangerous, but beautiful… and Sophia wants to know more about the games he’s willing to play.
Sophia Harding, hard working estate manager for one of the roughest patches in the area. Life in her patch is improving—she can’t let something like the past behavior of Callum Jackson bring things down. She knows she should steer far away from him, but there’s something about Callum that draws her in, something that speaks to her need to submit. Is Callum just the man for the job? Is he savage enough to meet her needs?
Sophie and Callum...I don’t even know where to start. They are like oil and water...and oh, so perfect together. They just need to realize that for themselves and not screw it up over silly misunderstandings and pride. I loved their interactions with each other—both knew exactly what the other needed. And Sophie has some deep, dark needs...
I would have loved to have more scenes between the two of them at Explicit and more interaction with Masque and Cat, and Raven and Cara. I loved the subplot of the book, too, but I wanted to know how things really turned out for them…maybe an update in the next one, Ms. West? ~ Missy, 4.5 stars
**Original review posted by me on Amazon, July 4, 2015.**
Comfort zones? HA! They're for pansies....
DIRTY is right!! Man, I can't believe this is only Jade's 2nd book?? Flipping outstanding! And can I just say, I see that one or two other reviewers found the brit dialect distracting but I LOVED it! I've never understood the EL James' of the world who try and Americanize their books; they always slip up and use some brit term and you're left wondering why on earth they bothered. It's such a nice change from what I usually read; it's like it helped me escape just that much more because you take taboo, dirty storyline and then add in those awesome accents and phrases....I mean this is gonna sound cheesy as sh** but it's like taking a vacation! It may seem sad that I consider reading a book that takes place in a different country as a form of travel, but poo on you, that's how I feel.
I love the fact that the heroine is older than the H. And the H. Ohhhhhhh the H.
So rough and so nasty but underneath just the most heartbreaking and vulnerable thing....I just want to hug him. Bless his heart. I was so genuinely happy every time something good happened for him (him finally getting his talent as an artist recognized was so awesome. I wanted to flip his mother the bird and tell her to sod off) and I wanted to weep whenever he was hurting. (okay I actually did weep a little. Okay a lot.)
The sex scenes in this book will definitely takes you outside of your comfort zone, and bravo for that. If you are at all squeamish or uncomfortable with rough, angry, no holding back, totally real (I'm talking period sex, ladies. It happens.) sex then this book isn't for you. I'm not telling you that so you don't try it, I'm telling you that so I don't see any reviews saying "ewwww they went too far with some of the stuff like oh em gee, ick". You have been warned.
All that lovely kink aside, there's an actual STORY, people!! Crazy, right?? Real emotions are had! Like in your heart and in your head, not just in your panties! It's the best!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I had been anxiously awaiting this release ever since finishing Dirty Bad Wrong and it was well worth the wait!
FUCKING AMAZING! That pretty much covers it. One of those books that you can't put down until you reach the end. I was immediately hooked from the first page and those hooks had me snagged the whole way through to the finish, which came way too soon. I easily could've read hundreds more pages about Callum and Sophie.
I'll be honest- I've written and rewritten this review several times and keep changing my mind. Each time I feel like I'm just regurgitating the story and that's the last thing I want to do. So I'm just going to try and tell you why I loved this book so much without giving you a blurb you can read on the back cover.
Callum Jackson is the whole reason I loved this book. He's raw and edgy but yet so much more than that underneath his rough exterior. He's homeless, eating out of garbage bins with only his dog Casey who he loves more than anything in this world. He's never been given a chance by anyone, not even his own mother, to make anything of himself. He's a perfect example of the horrible cycle of poverty that just keeps the poor poor and the rich rich.
His mother has done nothing but tell him how worthless he is for his whole life. She says he was born with bad blood, and he believes her. It broke my heart the way he constantly berated himself. He feels good-for-nothing and believes that's all he'll ever be. He's never had anyone care for or love him, and he's never let himself care or love anyone else.
His art is considered street graffiti and a nuisance by law enforcement. No one recognizes the gift for expressing his entire heart and soul through paints. His mother made fun of his love of art from an early age and mocked him for it constantly. I just wanted to hug him, take him home and hold him whispering how wonderful of a person he really was until he finally believed it.
Sophie entering his life changed both of their destinies forever. They are complete opposites according the outside world, but will soon find that they're more alike in spirit. They could both be what the other needs if they can make it through the obstacles that have been thrown in their way. Each page reveals something new about them and each page uncovers just a bit more about their feelings for the other. You won't be able to stop until there aren't any pages left to read.
The carnal fire that erupts when they're together is magnificent. It's dirty, it's bad, and of course it's savage. Callum may not have any formal Dom experience but he's a natural at dominating sexually. He's exactly what Sophie has been yearning for as a submissive. With Masque's guidance he'll be able to make her fly places she didn't know she could ever reach. We get the pleasure of watching him blossom into his new found role of Master in the bedroom...or balcony, or alleyway, or....etc.
Although this is a standalone, if you haven't read Dirty Bad Savage you really should do yourself that favor. There are some recurring characters and it helps if you know their backgrounds. We see Masque and Cat again, even a scene at Explicit! Which is scorching hot, needless to say. Rebecca (Bex) also plays a major character in this book. She's a good friend of Sophie's and becomes a close friend of Callum's. The whole crew of Explicit prove their loyalty and love for one another by their acceptance of Callum into their family.
This is a definite re-read kind of book. I've already started it a second time just so I can experience the thrill of Callum all over again. Trust me, you won't be sorry...just read it. If you're a fan of the darker side of erotica then this is perfect for you!
