I enjoyed reading Crain's Landing. It is about a girl starting over in a new small town. There will be people who will try to try and hurt her. Will the good people of Crain's Landing there to help her? This is a sweet small town romance that was too good to end!

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Natalie Reid a single Mom who fought to get everything she had in life, had sworn off love and men forever. Her father helped her get a dream job for her in the southern town Crain's Landing. When she is introduced to the Pediatrician sparks fly between them, but Natalie isn't willing to give in and Grant Crain isn't willing to give up. Who will win this battle only time will tell? Will this small town accept her and the changes she wants to make in their town, or will she again pack up her life and move yet again?
I so want to move to Crain's Landing, this southern town has everything that you would want and you fall in love with not only the main character's but all quirky one's that stop in for a visit. I have read all of Cayce's books prior to this one and I have to say I am a fan, but this one just gripped my heart and I couldn't put it down. I do hope she writes more about the inhabitants of this town because I simply fell in love. This is a home run in my book and I would definitely recommend everyone to read it. Well Done Cayce you have another hit book on your hands.
Natalie Reid is graduating from a University in New York. Follow this single mom as she goes to a new home town with her father in South Carolina to take over the town's library. What happens when she keeps running into the towns founding family members? What happens when the towns resident pediatrician won't give up his pursuit of her? What happens when both of their pasts come back to haunt them? Will they survive, or will they just give up and run away from it? Find out in this awesome read!!!
I give this book a very solid 5 Stars!
I have read other books by Cayce, and honestly forgot I had this on my Kindle! I was on vacation last week and was pleasantly surprised when I found it in there!
This book, immediately had you wondering how the main female character was able to manage to get through the things she did; with what she was faced with. Being a single mom, with an idiot boyfriend who leaves her before the baby is even born…….to take up with her mother!! Yes, that might seem a bit far-fetched, but sadly in this day and age, it happens! She finds it very hard to trust guys again, especially the one who immediately is fascinated (and dare I say immediately in Love with her?), but he begins to understand her, and figures out how to win her over! He works very hard at that, too, with much help from the town!
Unfortunately, there are few obstacles in their way…. many of their own doing (naiveté, ignorance, and yes a bit of male denseness)!! It does have a solid HEA, which I try to only read (I look in the reviews many times to find this out, before I buy a book), and there are many sparks that fly; both arguments and attraction…...also there is quite a bit of fun; the supporting characters in the small town give lots of humor, both with their version of “advice” and just being small town “nosy people”.
You will definitely enjoy this story, it is a great read while on vacation, when you just want to sink into a bit of everything; with some angst, humor, love, family, nosey neighbors, and as I already said, a true Happily Ever After (who REALLY does not love that)!
Crain's LandingCayce Poponea has definitely done GREAT!
This was such a great book! Natalie Reid has just graduated college and is moving to a small town called Crain's Landing where her dad is the Mayor. She has a little girl named Peyton that steals everyone's Heart right from the start. She moved there to be the director of the Library. In her heart she is done with men... the man she had her daughter with left Natalie for her own mama!....what a scum bag! She meets Grant which is her daughters doctor.. Grant tries everything in his power to just have dinner with Natalie but with her broken heart and heavy baggage she has none of it. Finally Grant gets a date with the help oh his dad. Natalie is a firecracker and has so much sass! the towns people were fun to read about too! It reminded me of the town I live in with it being small and everyone knows whats going on with everyone! Natalie finally takes her wall down but with how bad she was hurt She and Grant had a lot of things to work out and at the end they actually fall in love and beyond! loved this book highly recommend it!
I love every book that Cayce Poponea has written. Crain's landing was another one I can add to my love list. It's always hard to have a break up. When there is a child involved it's even worse. I love that even though Natalie thought the worst of any man that Grant was there to show her they aren't all evil. There were times I wanted to yell at Natalie for being ridiculous. I love that Grant knew what he wanted and wasn't going to stop until he could show her that he was one of the good guys! I highly recommend this book! I can't wait to see what Cayce Poponea brings us next!
One of the best stories I have read in a long time. The author wonderful writing always you to be transported in a small town in South Carolina and interact with the colorful town folk. The main character is very believable and shows that true love can mend the most broken heart. I recommend this wonderful story to all those who love a true happy ever after story.
A good story of how to change your life and open your heart
Fun to read but needs an editor's touch. Those little errors are always so distracting to me; candy strippers?! Christmas bizarre?! Really good storylines though!
I liked the story and where it was headed, and where it went.
There was a part that I found unnecessary and distracted me.
