Battle Raven #1

Celtic Rain

Rate this book
It is amazing how life can change when a man shoves his way through your door. The feeling of adrenaline flowing as you land a hand jarring punch on his chin. Or the horror of when you slip in that pesky puddle of water on the floor falling into his arms. It was that moment that turned everything around. The night that Lara met Aodhan, the man who will forever change her life. Lara O'Broin is a freelance archaeologist. She is known worldwide for her knack for finding ancient objects, charity work and art. As a single mother she worked hard to get to where she is in life. It’s funny how in one night all of that can change. She and her son, Kedryn, find out that they are descended from an ancient Celtic War Goddess, one of the Morrigan. Set in modern day Lara and Kedryn are forced to make a choice. To travel to another realm to take part in a battle or stay and forever watch their back in order to stay alive.

Michelle Graham grew up in a small Midwestern town and has always been fascinated with Celtic, Egyptian and Greek mythology. She loves to incorporate those myths with a twist into her books. She also goes by the pen name Isabelle Stewart, taken after her Great Grandmother who traveled to America from Ireland.

Besides an addiction to collecting mugs, love of coffee, writing and streaming on Twitch (miss_beehave8) she has been fighting cancer since February 2016 and as of 2023 is still in the fight.

A new fantasy trilogy has been started based in the Battle Raven series world with new and old Gods and myths. She has also started a Rock and Roll romance off to the side.

OMG THIS BOOK!!! This has been a book like none that I've ever read before. The characters are original and so is the plot! This is not a type of book I normally read but I am so glad I did. I really don't think you will be disappointed for picking this up for .99 cents! Isabelle Stewart is an amazing writer and I believe this book deserves more recognition!

Oh. My. Gods.
I am BLOWN AWAY. This was absolutely a great start to the Battle Raven trilogy and after the cliffhanger I need to read the second one ASAP!! This is something totally different than anything I've read and completely out of my comfort zone, and I absolutely loved it. I cannot wait to start the second book!
