This book is great practice for K-1 grade and it fulfills a Social Studies credit/lesson. The story is about some kids who are playing and one accidentally takes apart one of the others toys to use a part. They resolve the problems by apologizing and building something new together. It's a simple concept and easy for young kids to understand. Wording is perfect because it's pretty easy, but uses some words you might not use in everyday language such as admit or useful. Great if you're studying what it means to be a good citizen in class or at home. And my 5 yr old loved it!

I would most likely read this to pre-k students because it is important to teach basic life skills at this age. Whether some students are more advanced than others it is important to teach them at a young age that it is important to tell the truth and own up to when they make mistakes
