Having lived in Toledo my whole life, this was super fascinating to read. It may be just because I'm a giant nerd, but I found the whole thing incredibly interesting even though it is non-fiction. It does make one a bit sad to read "And now the site where this was sits as an empty parking lot" time and again.

Very interesting read. It focused a lot on numbers and figures and measurements, which makes sense since the author is a journalist. I find too many of those details dry and would have preferred more focus on interviews and anecdotes.

Enjoyed reading this history on my hometown of Toledo. Brought back many childhood memories. Wish I had read this when my Mom still had her memories and my Dad was alive to share with each of them, so many family connections.

Interesting and a reminder of memories for those who lived in Toledo more than 40 years ago. Without that, someone else would not connect.
