Zero cheats on fiancee with heroine but then still wants to marry fiancee even after she point blanks tells him to give up his child. Only doesn't because she gets found out. Heroine sleeps with zero even knowing he's engaged and has no intention of leaving fiancee.
hero and heroine have a one night stand after which he leaves town. she gets pregnant and goes to his parents, they dont believe her and trow her out(which is mean but believable), shes a random chick from the street that they dont know at this point. he comes back after 2 years with a fiance and bumps into the heroine and his daughter. he and his family immediately accept the heroine and their daughter in the family, but the hero is still engaged. the fiance part i found kind of stupid, the whole family was gullible for me, it sounded wayy too easy, especially considering how they treated the heroine. the hero cheats on hos fiance with the heroine but after the big reveal all is good and they go off for their hea.
its not the best book, and its not a very deep book but its short so that was good. for me, the author has potential when it comes to plot and twist but the development could be better.
I love it And I thank you for not making it about race it was a genuine love between the two with a little drama not too much and I love the fact that you didn’t make her look like she was just broken from the very beginning for some reason all interracial books that I’ve been reading always make it seem like it had something to do with race I’ll be passed out by now so I appreciate this book very much
WOW I really enjoyed this!! This one really hits the mark! The characters are amazing and so likeable - all of them have their deeper personalities that makes you see their growing affection for each other, there is drama about their situation, and the realization that they are the parents of a beautiful baby girl It's HEA but it will bring tears to your eyes. They knew from the beginning that their relationship was special but it had to be tested first.
Jonathan and Maggie meet, have a connection, she encourages him to follow his dreams. Fast forward two years, he returns with a fiancee in tow when he meets his little surprise!
I've read this.... but so wish I hadn't! Couldn't and wouldn't recommend this book! I've given it 1 star as I want my rating to be seen... but if I had the option to give a minus, I would have done.
Great story about love found, lost, and then found again! Maggie and Jonathan made me smile but little Carly was the spotlight. Janis was just evil. Glad she got hers! My only complaint is: What happened to safe sex? I guess when you are in the heat of the moment, condoms don't matter?
Jonathan is a strong, loving man who stands for his beliefs and family values. His love is dominant and gentle at the same time. Maggie is a sweet heart. A great read and right amount of suspense
I enjoyed this quick read. It was a fun little story that held some interest for me. A lot was glossed over but I guess that's why its a short story. At least the cowboy got his lady and his baby!
to me this story was all over the place.. I so much wanted to like this book. However that did not happen. I mean someones tells you to give up and forget about your child one minute then all of a sudden when your parents walk in you believe that she wants to work it out.......REALLY?
SKIP IT This book is crap. It reads like a journalism 101 homework assignment. Juvenile dialogue, passionless sex, and a story that was just boring. I can't believe I spent 90 minutes reading this.
This was a sweet love story. When beautiful Maggie meets handsome Jonathan Tanner they spend a passion filled night together. When morning comes Jonathan is gone and when Maggie goes to find him months later to tell him he's going to be a father she is told by his parents he has left town and wants nothing more to do with her or the baby. I recommend this book.
