Tea-spiration: Inspirational Words for Tea Lovers

Rate this book
Tea-spiration aims to create a quiet movement. Tea drinkers enjoy slowing down and enjoying all the moments with the beverage because it is simply more than just that. In her debut book, founder The Cup of Life, Lu Ann Pannunzio uplifts and inspires readers in a way that does more than just telling them a story about tea and its history. Similar to life, tea is about the little things. Each page is filled with different feelings and moments (big or small) that tea provides us that not everyone may notice to take time and enjoy. The inspirational aspect flows naturally showing readers that sometimes all you really need is a cup, water and some leaves to create your own wonderful tea experience.

A LITTLE BIG PILL OF WISDOM
I bumped into some reviews of this book by chance. And after discovering her beautiful blog, I couldn’t miss her first book. I know I didn’t expect something technical but honestly I didn’t know what precisely was its content; and I was surprised when I received it because of its pocketsize but immediately I feel that something special was in it.
It’s just like a little big pill you can assume every day, anytime you want, wherever you are: its size is perfect to put in your purse and read it together with a warm cup of tea if you are not at home, too.
I think we are inclined to take for granted a lot of things in our daily life but reading every single pages, you’ll become more conscious while drinking tea, you’ll notice and appreciate some details usually you miss.
I’ll buy again sooner or later because it’s the perfect gift for anybody, not only regular tea drinkers or very passionate tea lovers; it could be as well a good idea as a birthday card itself.
She did a great work which worth reading to warm your hearT(EA).

This book could be read in an hour or even less, but for me it was more enjoyful to read like a piecemeal through more tea sessions.

In the last period I've lost the routine of sipping tea in silence and calm, like approaching in a sort of meditation, and reduced my tea time by incorporating it with meal time or study session. I needed to return on those space where I just quit everything and go to focus only on making tea and sipping it slowly, and this book helped me in a good part.

You will read sweet and inspiring words, maybe they are not new to you but we tend to forget easily how to enjoy little things as we let ourselves be overwhelmed by the busy everyday life.

A little book to enjoy slowly while you're sipping slowy a cup of tea.

Cute little book that's a bit too expensive. Tea has been a bit of a hobby and as I had been following author Lu Ann Pannunzio for awhile now it seemed like a great way to support her and her tea habits.

The book is a meditation on tea. As the introduction says it's not meant to be a history or analysis of tea as there are other books for that. Instead, this is a book that meditates on the tea and tea rituals. How it's made. The cup the drinker uses. The type of tea. How it tastes, feels, smells, etc. What tea rituals mean and how someone can benefit from having such a ritual.

That's basically it. There are some quotes at the end but overall it's a positive little book.

I didn't really know what to expect but I like that it's a little different from other tea books I've come across. I will have to say, though, that it seems quite short and a bit small for the price ($14.95 USD).

But it fit my need at the moment and I'm glad I was able to support the author. Be warned, though, that this is not a book for everyone if you're looking for in-depth histories or stories or information about the author, etc. Might make a really cute gift or part of a gift basket for a tea lover though, especially during this time of the year where there are office gift exchanges and the like. It's small and easily portable.

What a sweet little book this turned out to be! Author Lu Ann Pannunzio blogs at theteacupoflife.com and has created a lovely little book filled with her thoughts on enjoying tea and the tea ceremony itself. While many authors and "experts" try to influence their readers on the proper method Ms. Pannunzio is of the school of thought that every person has a unique way to experience tea. I love this idea and I think she is very accurate in her belief that each experience can be unique to the drinker.

The book offers some great information on tea varieties, tea ware, ways to enjoy tea as well as some lovely quotes of the hour at the end of the book. The illustrations that are scattered throughout the book are sweet little depictions of tea pots, tea bags, flowers and more and enhance the book.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves tea or who needs an introduction to the world of tea. I loved it!

I found this book to be a nice, meditative guide to enjoying tea. I would recommend it to anyone that may be looking to enhance their tea drinking experience. The author takes you through each moment you may experience during your tea time and it's a nice way to slow down and appreciate tea more. My favourite part is the part about creating your tea sanctuary. Overall, I loved the book. It is beautifully written and designed. I appreciate that it is smaller in size, making it easier to travel with it and my tea. I think it will make an amazing gift for tea lovers!

I purchased this book after following Lu Ann (aka Teaaholic) on her Instagram page. It is a beautiful and heartfelt book filled with little bits of wisdom about how tea can teach us to slow down, bringing with it a greater sense of mindfulness and joy in our everyday lives. This is such a lovely book! I have both the Kindle version and the paperback and I prefer the hard copy because it's adorable. The book doesn't dwell on the specific details of tea (what temperatures to brew at, etc) but instead focuses on enjoying the experience. It's an easy, delightful read and I especially love the inspirational quotes in the last section.
