Timeline: The Minuteman Project

Rate this book
Three teenagers have been held captive for years by The Island Corporation, a pharmaceutical developer that uses orphaned children as guinea pigs for their world-changing, high tech drugs.

When Francis, Will, and Jessica execute a bold escape, they find that the drugs that they've been subjected to have given them extraordinary abilities. They suddenly find themselves thrown back in time with limited resources, and no one to rely on but each other.

Francis, the hero of the story, demonstrates a passion and empathy to help others that elevates him to the highest position in the ancient kingdom. He and his friends must learn to control the powers they have in order to stay alive long enough to figure out how to return to their present so they can save the others on The Island from destruction.

The Minuteman Project is just the beginning of the five-part Timeline series in which Francis and his friends share mind-blowing experiences because of the powers they've been given. Told from the perspective of a teenager, this book will appeal to teens, young adults, and anyone who enjoys an adventure.

This book was truly amazing. Even when I felt I needed to stop reading, I was not able to because I was wanting to see what happened next. I have read the Hunger Games and this book is ranked up there if not better. I feel it has so much more depth to it, and can not wait until the the second book comes out. Timeline: Journey to Skeleton Island. I bet this book is going to so rock. I hope this hits the movie theaters, it has so much information, the movie will be HUGE.

I became attached to the characters in this book! I can't wait to see what happens to them in the sequel.
I love the author's spin on the "King Arthur" aspect of the story, but he keeps the modern elements very vivid during the action that happens in the past.
Great read and appropriate language and action for teens too.
