The Witch and the Commander is a two-part time-travel fantasy with a dash of humor and romance. ... Abby is a witch; she has a broom and a cat named Charlie. But around these parts witches aren't popular. So when Abby finds herself at the mercy of an ancient spell with no one to rely on but a distant man, she must count on more than her magic to survive.
The Witch and the Commander is a two part series, and both episodes are currently available. (Please note, this book was previously published as a single volume under the title Abby the Witch).

Too bad. The whole premise of traveling back in time and prejudice against witches really made for a delightful plot. But the ridiculous, childish romance was really awful. If only this author wouldn't continue to make her female protagonists so belligerent and immature and their romantic male interests so stubborn and equally immature. Less teen-age romance and more story would have made this a fun read. I won't bother to read the second book.
