I enjoyed reading about President Romney. His life was interesting and inspiring. I was particularly interested that he would read the standard works when he received a new assignment, to see what the Lord directly said about the subject. I feel prompted to do that. The story of his wife's illness, which I've heard before, was another highlight.
Having praised the subject and content, this book deserves a much better transfer from printed book to ebook. It must be a scan that nobody bothered to proofread. Several misspellings, odd format and note markings, and sometimes a photo caption, without a photo, will show up in the middle of a paragraph. President Romney and Elder Howard both deserve better than this. It's not unreadable, but it takes a little getting used to. Excellent biography, fair ebook.

This is hands-down one of the top 5 LDS biographies of all time. It is well-written, insightful, inspiring, humorous, and simply interesting. Elder Howard does a great job of helping you feel like you are right there with President Romney in his life. He has access to and shares excerpts from his journals, which helps you feel like you can get into President Romney's mind and see what makes him tick. I highly recommend this book as a must-read LDS biography. When I come away from a book wanting to improve my life, I know I have read a fantastic book.

His dedication to the principle of fasting when he was an assistant to the twelve was inspiring to me.
