I still can't believe that I've purchased this book years ago and never got around to reading it. Just finished reading it in ebook form. This book was great. Whos loving you? My favorite characters are Honey, Red Velvet and Tiffany. I was hoping that all three of them would have done a 3sum with Grant. I'm still trying figure out how Red Velvet take the entire water bottle inside of her...lol... still trying picture that and hoping to see that in real life.
While I am a huge fan of Mary B Morrison’s, this particular novel fell short for me. It could be the fact that it is a part of a series, and I don’t remember the earlier ones, or that the storyline just wasn’t that interesting to me. The book was not all bad thoughh, I loved how all the characters linked together in the end.
Honey, the main character, is still in love with her now ex, a love she doesn’t feel she deserves after her life as a porstitute and madam. Sounds interesting right? However Honey, is extremely annoying with her NEED to feel loved by Grant. What I did like about Honey, is that we have all been there once or twice, chasing after a love we know we don’t need or shouldn’t have.
Then there’s Grant. *insert eye roll*. He is written as the stereotypical male. Claims to be in love with Honey but has absolutely no problem having sex with Sapphire and Red Velvet all while trying to rekindle his relationship with Honey.
I wish Morrison would have spent a little more time on the character development of both Sapphire Blue and Red Velet. Their characters seem interesting, however I felt those stories in the book fell short compared to Honey and Grant unfortunately.
Overall, Who’s Loving You, was not my favorite by Mary B Morrison but I did enjoy the connections between the characters in the book. It is a story on finding, accepting, and knowing when to let go of love. The story/topic did make me think a little deeper on my own definition of love and the way I want and deserve to be loved however. Those little nuggets were worth it for sure.
This book was WAY better than it's part one, Sweeter Than Honey but I have to say that this STILL doesn't seem like a Mary B book :( This novel was interesting but I am wondering where the REAL Mary B Morrison a.k.a Honey B went! I am going to read part 3 because I feel obligated and sadly I hear there is a part 4 on the way :( I want this series to just be over it isn't that good. Back to this book, it is all over the place. Boring in some spots, but a page turner in others. The characters talk to themselves A LOT in this series. Their whole chapter could be them talking in their own heads. This book ending VERY abruptly. I turned the page thinking I was going to the next chapter because I had almost an inch worth of pages to go but it was the end. Shockingly. The rest of the pages were poems, chapters from her other books, and some types of letters. Would I recommend this book? No.
The series is definitely getting better Honey met the man of her dreams, only to later find out that he is Benito brother. His parents are extremely upset to find out that the girl of his dreams use to be a prostitute. However we find out that Sapphire Bleu is Tiffany Davis who was a runaway teen who is infatuated with Grant Hill. Summer marries Valentino , oh yeah , she also bails him out of jail . Valentino goes to Atlanta to Kidnap Honey in order to get his money back.
I fell asleep alot in the beginning of this book. After Honey and Grant made me almost throw this book because of their silliness, it got better. Secrets were unveiled and Ms. Sapphire Bleu isn't so hard after all. It's funny how you have so many people in one book, yet they're all connected in some way. Towards the end I began to enjoy it. Though, I hope this author puts these characters to rest because I don't think there's anymore juice left in them lol.
Not impressed with this one Mary... sorry.... one of the most painful story lines to follow.. and totally didn't make sense. For instance... in one chapter, the couple is talking about getting busy on the 50th floor of some 5star hotel, however... the guy starts bragging about people seeing them from the group and thinking the girl was going to fall... Who the heck could see what's going on from the ground all the way to the 50th floor??? ***UGH***
Mary has done it again...This book was great I was finished with in 2 days. Grant Hill sounds like he's a man that any women would want in her life..I was glad to see Lace out the game a doing positive things with her life, and helping other women as well, and Valentino is still the same ol Valentino not caring what comes out of his mouth and I can't believe what he did that ish was just NASTY...but this was a great book
This book was well written although I dreaded the end , Honey finally feel in love to lose it ...found out she was pregnant and had beautiful twins to have them kidnapped . And Grant did a 360 I really thought he could love her past her pain . Valentino James also made a turn for the better who would have thought the ex pimp frm IP would become Honey's BFF ....I hear Mary is making a part 4 I can't wait .

it was pretty sad how the story ended. lace was left to be murdered either by valentino or benito all because of 50 million dollars which was half spent. lace was serious about changing her life for the better to help others in need to get their lives together. all that crap that she was caught up in prostitution, abusive relationships and stealing money cost her, her life.
This book was pretty interresting.A lot of characters and names and not enough sex scenes for my liking but it was interresting. The end was ok, some things came together some things didn't. This book is more of a Classy hood book lol.
got to read the first and last book. It was good but I wish Honey didn't act like Grant was the very last man in the world she can be with. She seem kind of desperate. It like no matter what he do she still wind of being with him again and again.
I lost interest reading this book about 25 pages into it, and I really tried to be objective while reading it. There's no way I'd pay $24.95 for that work.
a lot of twists and turns going on this book, almost to mouch to keep up and understand how everyone fits in. not one of my favs from her. but a okay read.
I had to force myself to read it. The ending was very weak. Also most chapters in the beginning are rambles of poetic sympathy. I guess it's a book for chicks but honestly it could've been better
