Discusses the Egyptian pyramids, Greek temples, Roman buildings, and megalithic monuments in Britain, the book includes chapters on architecture in Mesoamerica, the early Middle East, and ancient China and Japan.
I was surprised by how much I liked this book: it was filled with great information from various time periods about different civilizations. Of course all of the favorites were talked about: pyramids, Parthenon, Pantheon, Colosseum, Great Wall and Stonehenge, but it also discussed monuments that aren't as well known: Avebury, the Tula, Anahita temple, just to name a few. It was well put together with great explanations and pictures. I'm interested to see what other Frameworks books are out there.
