Langden Brother 2
I enjoyed Cade's Challenge quite a lot. It is Cade's and Sallie's story, they were mentioned in Trey's book.

Sallie has worked for Cade for five years and has helped him build his business. She has always been very professional never giving away anything of her personal life but one night she finds an intruder in her house and while trying to find her phone runs into Cade and he sees quite a bit of her which unnerves her, she does not want sexual feelings towards Cade. As it turns out someone has been causing trouble at their company and she has had some disturbing calls.

When Cade offers to beef up her security she bristles, she led a life where her parents stifled her and wants no part of it but Cade doesn't know that, observing her he knows she comes from wealth, how refined she is but he doesn't know how much until a background check on employees. Sallie comes from a very wealthy background but all she has ever wanted is the white picket fence and she can't believe Cade is attracted to her, none of his relationships have lasted long and she doesn't trust her judgment after her one and only doomed romance.

The book was hot, there were some really good and hot scenes between them and both Sallie and Cade were very likable.

This audiobook is a fast paced suspense romance .
Sallie Archer has been working as Cade Langden’s assistance for a few years. Always professional until someone enters her home in the middle of the night. It all points to a stalker she has not mentioned before and Cade’s protective instincts go on full alert and sparks start to fly.
Sallie is also keeping secrets which are revealed as the treats grow.
Once again, the author gives us a story a story with an engaging plot and interesting and sexy characters.

A realistic storyline. The events In this story can easily happen in real life. To be betrayed by someone you trust so completely can be utterly devastating. I read it in one go. I was too curious to find out who culprit was.

In Becky Barker's On Wings Of Love, readers were introduced to Trey's brother Cade. This is Cade's story, a sequel of sorts to On Wings Of Love but a totally separate and stand alone novel. Cade's business is being sabotaged and Sallie, his assistant, has a stalker. I liked it but not quite as much as the previous novel. But it had all the elements I like in my stories, a blend of romance and mystery/suspense.

Not at all what I expected, but I didn't actually have any expectations to begin with. I feel like the story starts in the middle though. Almost like there is an introduction missing, so I was thoroughly confused for quite some time. Then, you add the explicit romance which came out of no where. I had no idea what was going on for the majority of the book, but I liked the ending so it ends up with 3 stars.
