Il trattato "Luce sul Sentiero" è un libro classico tra gli Occultisti ed è la migliore guida che si conosca per coloro che hanno fatto il primo passo sul Sentiero del Conseguimento. Come tutti i Mistici l'Autore ha steso un velo sul reale significato delle Regole, di modo che per colui che non ha ancora afferrato qualche lampo di Verità, questo libro apparirà probabilmente un ammasso di contraddizioni e privo di senso comune. Ma per coloro che hanno già intravveduto un barlume della vita interiore, queste pagine saranno un tesoro contenente le più rare gemme. Per molti questo piccolo libro costituirà la prima rivelazione di ciò che hanno cercato ciecamente in tutte le loro esistenze. A molti esso offrirà le prime briciole di pane spirituale per soddisfare la fame dell'anima loro. Per altri sarà il primo sorso d'acqua della sorgente di Vita che acquieterà la sete che da tanto li tormentava. Coloro a cui questo libro è destinato ne riconosceranno il messaggio, e dopo averlo letto non saranno mai più quelli di prima. Come il Poeta ha detto " dove lo passo, tutti i Miei figli mi riconoscono ": così i Figli della Luce riconosceranno questo libro. Quanto agli altri possiamo dire solo che, col tempo, anch'essi saranno pronti per questo messaggio, il quale simboleggia i passi del neofita in Occultismo, via via che egli progredisce nella vita spirituale. Le Regole sono quelle stesse date ai neofiti della Fratellanza nell'Antico Egitto, e che nell’India vengono da molte generazioni insegnate da “guru” a “chela”. La particolarità di queste Regole è che il loro significato interiore si svela progressivamente seguendo lo sviluppo del discepolo sul Sentiero. Alcuni sono capaci di comprenderne molte, mentre altri riporteranno un'idea confusa persino delle prime. Lo studente però troverà che quando abbia saldamente posto i piedi sui primi gradini, quello immediatamente superiore comincerà ad apparirgli debolmente illuminato, sì da dargli fiducia per salirlo. Che nessuno si scoraggi! Il solo fatto che vi sentite attirati da questo libro attesta che esso vi è destinato; col tempo il suo pieno significato vi diverrà chiaro. Rileggetelo spesso e vedrete ad uno ad uno sollevarsi i suoi veli, quantunque molti e molti ne rimangano ancora fra voi e l'Assoluto.

About the author

Mabel Collins was born in St Peter Port, Guernsey. She was a writer of popular occult novels, a fashion writer and an anti-vivisection campaigner. According to Vittoria Cremers, as related by Aleister Crowley, Collins was at one time being romantically pursued by both Cremers and alleged occultist Robert D'Onston Stephenson. Cremers claimed that during this time she found five bload-soaked ties in a trunk under Stephenson's bed, corresponding to the five murders committed in Whitechapel by Jack the Ripper. Stephenson is no longer a candidate as being Jack the Ripper due to the efforts of competent, modern researchers. However, Stephenson was a rival with Cremers for Collins' affections, and this account cannot be independently confirmed

La puntuación es una combinación de una calificación muy mala para la primera parte y una demasiado buena para la segunda (por las puertas de oro).
La primera, como eventualmente lo advierte del mismo libro, está orientada a un grupo muy reducido de personas y, obviamente, yo no estoy entre ellas. Me resultó una colección de ideas, pensamientos o reglas complicadas y hasta contradictorias.
La segunda parte, sin embargo, se trata de una serie de reflexiones hermosas y profundas que te invitan y ayudan a crecer.

This must be The Bhagwad Gita's western counterpart - in all honesty, I actually like and resonate much deeper with this than The Bhagwad Gita itself.

So profound are the words and lessons of this book that the divine soul Osho wrote an entire 500+ page book "The Voice Of Silence" as a commentary.
