The Sandman has broken through to the waking world, bringing with Him a monster of a storm. Mirren Lambert and Vince Blackman set out to force him back into his own realm, while Malcolm Rook and Jordan Lane are cornered by an old enemy intent on revenge. They learn that there are no rules when fighting for the ones you love.
In the midst of the chaos, Harlen Fawkes is charged with finding a way to make dreaming safe again. As nightmares lurk in the fringes, waiting to attack, he is driven to a bold decision that will change the world Darkside forever. All the while, his heart is with Sera—will the love of his life ever wake again?
Steve Coll must come to grips with his altered nature. His passion for Maisie Lane transcends the darkness, and he becomes both a fearsome nightmare and the hero humanity so desperately needs. Armed with hope and love, he strikes out to defeat a powerful god. But will it be enough? Or has dreaming just become too dangerous?
Scrape is the eighth and final installment in the Reveler serial, a hot paranormal romance set in a world where shared dreaming is a new pop culture phenomenon that allows people to indulge their wildest fantasies. But there are also unknown dangers Darkside; nightmares are slowly infiltrating not only dreams, but the waking world as well. And behind them all is a shadowy entity called the Sandman.
Erin Kellison is the bestselling author of the Indulgence series, the Dragons of Bloodfire series, the Reveler series, and the Shadow series. She writes urban fantasy, paranormal romance, and fantasy. She loves other worlds and visits them as often as possible via movies and books and her kids' imaginations. When not daydreaming or writing, she's goofing off with her family in sunny Arizona.
Well this is a hard review to write because I have no wish to ruin the book for anyone else. This is the final instalment of the Reveler series and it's with a heavy heart that I type. This has been such a unique world to fall into and completely unlike any other urban or paranormal story that I have read. It is a series that delves into our deepest fears, rolls around in them and then does the unthinkable , it destroys all that we believe in. Step out into the dream waters and discover a world of nightmares that are more than capable of consuming you! This series has featured several different couples who all interconnect but as the last book ended Steve Coll sacrificed himself in an effort to remove the Sandman from the waking world. This book takes up exactly where that story left off with those in Maze city under siege and those in the waking world still trying to save both those awake and those trapped in dreams with the carnivorous nightmares. This action packed instalment leaves our heroes so damaged and yet they keep fighting. This is not horror and yet the author takes us on a truly harrowing ride. The outcome is an intense story that allows all these fascinating characters to step up in their own inimitable fashions and I wouldn't have missed it for anything. The romance is integral but downplayed so that it just feels right and not intrusive . If you are looking for a dark world punctuated with hope then this series is a must read. Start at the beginning and wallow in the dream waters but never forget to check out just who is sharing those dreams with you! Yes these books are short but they will stay with me for a long time I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review
I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Overall I give this book 4 stars. It was an interesting conclusion to the story. I enjoyed the way everyone came together with their abilities to fight the Sandman.
What I didn't like: I think if the series was all in one book I would have been just as excited at the end as I was in the beginning. I really loved this series when I first found it, but that was after 5 books had already been published and the 6th was released a week later. However, this story is stretched out over 8 novellas, none of them are stand alone or complete a storyline, with a total cost to a customer of $16.93. By the time the 7th and 8th installments were released I was more than a little frustrated by the publishing style. All of my reviews mentioned that I hoped it would be released in a set at reduced cost, but I see the set of books 1-5 has no discount given. I bought the 2nd and 3rd book because I loved the series so much and was then was given ARC's of the remaining books.
I found this to be an excellent story that grabbed my attention, but if I was to recommend it to others I would be sure and tell them that they have to read all 8 books for a complete story and how expensive that is. As a reader I have grown increasingly annoyed at author's who break one book up into installments. I frequently buy an author's series if I enjoy their writing, I enjoy when there is a common thread to tie all the books together, but I want a complete story in each book.

Wow!! This is a difficult book to review and give it it's full due. The final book of the serial is a nightmare of apocalyptic proportions, full of symbolism and metaphors. The cast of characters from previous installments is present as the Sandman and his worshipers, the Oneiros, destroy the boundary between the waking world and Darkside. Nightmares are invading the waking world and the Sandman takes over a human body. The hybrid Steve loses his human form as he tries to stop him, becoming "Coll", a Nightmare, yet not. As Darkside crumbles, revelers are unable to wake up and Nightmares take advantage of the chaos. Maisie's Maze becomes a temporary sanctuary until another hybrid with the ability to enthral and control makes an appearance. All seems lost, but the team has too much to live for to go down without an all out fight. "One more survivor to add to the count. All the counting was done in one's." I don't typically read serials, but this one is different, one book and I was hooked. It was well worth the effort and the wait between installments. I'm sorry to see it end and hope there will be a complete set available in the near future. That would be something to look forward to. Again, WOW! Copy received in return for an honest review.
Scrape was a great ending to the Revelers series. While the early books were one couple a book urban fantasy romance, like the past few books, Scrape is an ensemble piece and the relationships are still foundational but in the background. Pretty much all the past leads have a part to play in the final battle. The outcome extracts a heavy price from several of the cast, but is a satisfying resolution, to the collapse of the Reve and the rise of the Nightmares plot that has threaded through all of the books.
When I started this I didn't really realize that it would be a serial, but I was happy every time a new episode appeared. I am going to miss the shared dreamscape of the Reve.
Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha - Chelle:
How do I even write this review?? This is super-duper bittersweet for me. Reveler quickly became one of my top 5 all-time favorite series and holds a place in my heart that may be hard to fill, so coming to the end of this journey was something I both looked forward to and dreaded.
Erin Kellison, in my personal opinion, is a master of dark urban fantasy/paranormal romance. I hesitate to even call her books "paranormal romance" sometimes because they feel more like urban fantasy with romantic elements to me--EXACTLY what I love. She never, ever stays "in the box" with her world building and storylines, she always knows how to push the envelope juuuuust enough, and between all of that, she has relatable characters that will stay with you forever, edge of your seat action and suspense, and just a touch of super steam romance. It's the ultimate book lover/paranormal junkie's dream.
O.K, enough gushing, on to thoughts on the finale...
As the serial built, we saw the world Darkside get increasingly more dangerous and our cast of characters fighting tooth and nail to protect those they loved and those who could not fight for themselves. Each book had a bit of everyone, but generally focused on a "main" character couple. Scrape is one big dark, dangerous, action-packed, crazy rollercoaster of epic proportions, and each and every couple not only plays their part but gets their HEA (though not without one hell of a battle). I sat there shaking my head going "how did she even do that and make me satisfied?"
I'm not sure I can break this down properly without spoilers, but I will try. The individuals in the waking world that want to make Darkside the 'new normal' have started to rise up and take power, paving the way for their god, the Sandman, to reign. The Sandman has risen, and is now wreaking havoc in the waking world while his nightmares terrorize revelers Darkside. Each and every couple dives in headfirst in a battle of strength and wits to attempt their defeat of the Oneiros and the Sandman, while protecting each other as they are able. The battle is not without casualties, however, and there are losses on both sides. How catastrophic those losses and changes are, ultimately, isn't known initially, and gradually works itself out as the book progresses.
Now that all of the books are out, even if you're not an episodic serial fan, I HIGHLY suggest this series. I cannot emphasize how much I recommend it. You won't even have to wait for the next installment. :) It's rife with amazing characters, unbelievable action, thrilling drama and suspense, some super sexy (yet admittedly subtle at times) romance, and a world and concept that you won't be able to shake because it's unique, amazing, and totally captivating.
Take a chance. Dream dangerously. I can say with confidence that you won't be disappointed...

An epic conclusion to this apocalyptic story that has spanned eight novellas...
His dad's eyes were getting darker. "How bad is it really?" Very bad. Too many fronts to fight. Bur for starters... "That big storm out east?" Jordan and Rook had gone to investigate... "That's the Sandman in the waking world." His dad frowned deeply. He shook his head and shrugged. "I don't know what that means." Yeah, well... "Neither do we."
SCRAPE by Erin Kellison is the bittersweet finale of her Reveler series. I can honestly say that I've enjoyed each installment and am happy, but saddened, that the series has now concluded. What a wild ride this series has treated readers to! Everything wraps up in SCRAPE, though the bow is not as pretty for some favorite characters as it is for others.
This is the eighth installment in Erin's Reveler series. In my opinion, there is no way you can plunge into this book without having read the previous seven books. You would be hopelessly lost. This is not a big deal. Just grab all the books, be grateful that they're all now available, and delve in. You won't be sorry. There's nothing like some serious binge reading and this is a series that is meant to be devoured.
SCRAPE picks up right where THE SANDMAN ended with multiple devastating cliffhangers. At the end of THE SANDMAN, utter chaos ruled. The situation was beyond dire. The Sandman had arrived dayside. Nightmares were everywhere. Oneiros had infiltrated and trusting anyone was impossible. Coll had died. David was AWOL. Sera was in a coma after having been shot. Maisie's city was under attack. AND it's going to get worse.
All our favorite characters - including Jordan, Rook, Coll, Maisie, Harlen, Sera, Vince, Mirren, and David- make an appearance as their services are all needed to fight the Sandman and his followers, save innocent Revelers and provide closure. Don't worry that you will be able to guess what will happen beforehand, as Erin still has a multitude of surprising twists and turns up her sleeve that will turn her readers' worlds upside-down and inside-out.
We finally get to know what the Sandman is and where he comes from. All the questions about what the nightmares are and where they come from are answered as well and we even get to find out what happens if all the walls of our guarded dreams came down. Erin Kellison is an amazing storyteller. I knew that once I started reading the final installment of her Reveler series I wouldn’t be able to put it down and I wasn’t wrong.
Last time the story left me a bit bewildered because one of the main characters was lost Darkside and another possibly dead so I didn’t know where the arc was going to go from there. Scrape ties all the knots carefully and leaves nothing unsettled. I didn’t think I had a favorite couple but here I was able to recognize I do and was oh, so very happy everything was going to work out for them – or sort of. The whole series from beginning to end transported me the Reveler world and made me envision a place as if I was watching a movie right there on my e-device.
If I have any cavils is that I feel the climax and the resolutions to all their conundrums were solved too swift too fast. In a way I feel I shouldn’t have any but I suppose I’m too greedy and I wanted more out of it. Also, not much of a HEA but a HFN, which in a way gives me hope that Kellison will surprise us with more of these characters in the future (wishful thinking).
So, the “preciousness” (that’s because it’s become my precious) of this story is that even though it’s the final installment it leaves the door open for more. And I DO WANT MORE! I sure hope that we get to see more of this world and all it entails. 4 stars.

Darkness Falls, the first book in the series is still FREE.
The Sandman has entered the waking world and chaos reigns and the Revelers have no choice but to take on the nightmare in this final battle.
Non-stop pulse-pounding action keeps readers on the edge as Mirren and Vince have the task of sending the Sandman back to his own realm, Malcolm and Jordan are cornered by an old enemy, Harlen must find a way to make dreaming safe again and Steve must embrace his altered nature to battle the powerful god while hoping that his passion for Maisie transcends the darkness. Lots of spine tingling excitement builds throughout this thrilling conclusion to this spellbinding series with well written scenes and details that paint vivid images and make it easy for the reader to become transfixed by the excitement of each and every scene while the intriguing events draw the reader in and refuse to let go.
The strong, compelling characters demanded your attention from the very beginning and now they claim your waking time with an exciting nightmare of a battle that will send chills up your spine. The couples’ relationships are still going strong as they band even tighter in order to survive while the emotional turmoil and stress of the mêlée flows from the pages and grips the heart and the fast paced, smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, action and romance.
What a spellbinding conclusion to this fantastic series! I have been enthralled with the dark, edgy world and sexy characters from the very beginning and while I hate to see it end, there is no better way that it could have concluded. I have to recommend that this series be read in order to get the full impact and understanding of this dynamic world that takes place in the dreamscape as well as the waking world. Meanwhile, I will be waiting to find out what Erin Kellison has in store for readers next.
Absolute madness, I tell you! It never ceases to amaze me how much of a punch these little books pack! It's so bittersweet reading the last book in a series that you loved. One of the best parts about Scrape was that you were immediately dropped right back into the sheer chaos that Sandman ended in, so you really didn't even have a spare minute to think about the fact that this is the last Reveler book until you've already reached the end!
I loved every action packed second, even when I was hanging right off the edge of my seat desperately hoping that the next page wouldn't be the page where one of my favorite characters were going to meet a disastrous end. Especially once it became apparent that NO ONE would come out of this unscathed.
I am sad to see this series come to an end but I think this last book did a wonderful job at wrapping everything up. The final showdown with the Sandman was not at all what I was expecting but it actually fit the story perfectly and I wouldn't change a thing. While I was saddened by some of the things that befell my beloved characters, I did think that the end held a certain note of hopefulness, it felt much like the quiet moments after a devastating storm, where you take in the destruction around you, mourn the things lost, but also hold the things you hold dearest that much tighter and be thankful they're still there for you to hold, even if they're battered and a little broken. It's a time to take stock and also look ahead to rebuilding around the things you have. I like to imagine that they will have some happier days ahead of them.

I am RIDICULOUSLY in love with this series. Something about it worked for me on many levels. The characters, the couples, the crazy they had to deal with. I'm terribly sad to see it end, but at the same time we got such an outstanding ending I'm... happy with it. I'm very conflicted about this. I didn't want it to end, but I'm happy it did.
The last book almost killed me with its ending. This one picks up straightaway and things are NOT looking good for our heroes. Steve's fate seemed the most tenuous, but they're all trapped in situations that threaten both their lives and their sanity.
With nightmares infiltrating both the safe dreamscapes and the waking world, things look bad. BAD BAD BAD. Weirdly, I loved how things didn't end up easy for our heroes. From Steve's transformation to Rook's issues to... okay, I feel like I'm going to give something away. Instead, I'll say I liked that things weren't perfect once they'd gotten past their main hurdle.
Saving the day doesn't fix everything and each of these characters had to make sacrifices in one way or another.
I received copy of this book for an honest review. The first thing I have to say is the worst part of the book is that it's over. No more will we be able to see into this wonderful world or seascapes and monsters (hint hint please write more). This final book in the revelers series and it brings it to an epic conclusion between our weary and battered band of heroes and the monster, who would call himself a God, the Sandman. Ms Kellison does a fanatic job of tying up all the loose ends. With adventure, daring adventures and possible heart break its a ride to the end.
This series is so good. A must read for sure! The story is fascinating gripping, exciting, thrilling, action-packed, compelling, suspenseful, dark and so much more. The characters are very well written, complex and felt real. I so recommend this series!!!
The Reveler Series is complete and includes eight parts:
Darkness Falls (Reveler 1) Lay Me Down (Reveler 2) Darksider (Reveler 3) Night's Deep Hush (Reveler 4) Bring Me A Dream (Reveler 5) Delirium (Reveler 6) The Sandman (Reveler 7) Scrape (Reveler 8)

Fantastic ending to a spectacular series. Through it all, I was wondering where this would lead. EVERYONE finds their due.... no matter the source. The passion in this book lies within the good the people are looking for.
Erin Kellison doesn't disappoint. Again, she provides the readers with trials, love, passion, resolve, you name it, it's there in.
Sadly this is the final book in what has been a great series. With lots of action and twists and turns, it provides a fitting ending. Although you know it's the end, the conclusion isn't predictable, and you also get a sense of the characters' stories continuing on. Perhaps there is hope for a spin-off? Either way, this is a great series for fans of paranormal adventures, and worth reading to the end.
I was so pleased with this whole series and I thought that this book was a great ending to it. I almost wish there were more books in this series because I don't want to leave these characters and the world that they have created in their dreams. I would highly recommend this series!
I received this eARC from the author in exchange for an honest review, I was in no way compensated for this review.
NOTE: there will be spoilers from the previous novellas in this review, so be forewarned.
Scrape brings Erin Kellison’s sizzling Reveler series to a close and I must say it was truly awesome! A lot has been happening in this series since the beginning, and it’s definitely one you need to read in order, despite the different characters taking over each book, there is still a continuing storyline that happens throughout all eight novellas.
When we last left our heroines and heroes, there was chaos. Sera had been shot and remains in a coma, Jordan and Rook had just witnessed Steve dying, Mirren and Vince are trying to find David…and it’s just utter chaos still. If that wasn’t enough thousands upon thousands of people are stuck in reves, unable to escape on their own. It’s going to take serious reveler power to get them all out. Add to that, the Sandman is coming and he’s not the friendly kind to send you off happily to your dreams.
We pretty much have all the characters starring in this book, so there were a lot of narrator changes. That worked rather well for this story because there was a lot going on all over the place. Things happening in the reves, things in Maze City and of course, the chaos that’s ensuing in the waking world.
And what’s a story without a handful of villains! The Sandman being on of the bigger ones, but Noah and his band also come back and that provides a few extra complications for Jordan and Malcolm.
Soon the plot turns into the ever dire, save the world scenario. Even if that world happens to be involving the reves more than the waking world, but the waking world would be next on the list.
Perhaps my only complaint was not getting enough time with each couple. Just as I was digging the current narrator’s point of view, we’d jump to another and then I would be sunk into that. It’s usually the only downside when it comes to multiple characters, but it’s really such a little thing since I’m basically asking for more from a novella.
I have really come to enjoy this novella series! It’s been a lot of fun. Each story was intense and filled with action to the brim and was always coupled with a sizzling romance! Scrape pretty much had all that and then some since we had nearly all the power couples in play, except for Harlen and Sera, since Sera was MIA. But the ending makes it all worth it!
Ok, the long awaited end to this Revelers series. Loved following this series, the characters and writing was so vivid and captivating they just suck you under the waters of Ms. Kellison’s Reve.
In this last book, The Sandman has come into the waking world, causing a major sandstorm on the East Coast of the United States of America. Sara is in the hospital from the gun shot in the last book, and Marshall Malcom Rook and Jordan are now in that sandstorm looking for Marshall Steve Coll; while Maisie is trying to hold on to her Dreamscape town, Maze City which was being used as a safe haven for the people in the blackmarket reves that had gotten collapsed on when the nightmares over it. Now she is fighting a hybrid that is trying to take her will as well as her city.
As Steve tries to fights the Sandman as he comes out of a reve, he loses his human side and is only able to be Darkside, will Maisie be able to accept him? Will Miriam be able to find the strength to do what she must top side so her son has a chance at a life? Rook and Jordan must find a way to warn everyone, wake those that need to be awaken to get this job done, leaving Jordan the only one awake with hybrid band on their way to the last safe house.
A hybrid toddler, a mean man teasing him to jump out of car over the side of the mountain, those were David’s cookies, what can a half nightmare toddler do in a tantrum and can Jordan react fast enough to take advantage of it?
Yes, this is final battle with the Sandman. Who will win? Will this group of people brought together by circumstance, not even sure if they like each other, be able to bond together to be a family? To defeat The God of the Reves? You must read this one to find out the end. I could not put this book down from start to finish. Straight action and tension to the last line. Loved every word. Five stars for this book, and the series as a whole. Thank you, Ms. Kellison, for taking us into your Dreamscape and allowing us to dream with you.
In her last installment of the Reveler Series, author Erin Kellison doesn't hold back and it's awesome!
When last we left the world of lucid dreaming the Sandman has risen and destruction has come to the waking world.
It's up to Harlan as the new leader to find a way to destroy the Sandman but it has to be hard when the love of his life (Sera) is lost in dreamland, literally.
Maize city is almost deserted by Maisie refuses to leave. If she leaves how will Steve ever find her? Maisie of course doesn't know what happened to Steve. Is Steve alive or dead? He lost his battle to the Sandman, didn't he?
Mirren is asked to do the unacceptable. She has to face the Sandman because only she can bring him down. And Jordan needs to protect their bodies while they battle in their sleep. Only once again a danger from the scrape has come to the waking world.
It was dark, it was intense and it brought the world to a screeching halt. Nothing will ever be the same again.
Now what was interesting about this book was it was more than just an intense book. It didn't have happy happy ending. It was different. It offered an honest ending, a provoking ending and yes, it was a happy ending, sorta.. LOL.. I know this is so close to spoilerville.. But it's important to address some of this.
What Erin does is magnificent. She has twisted and turned all of these characters around until day is night, awake is asleep and good well evil is never good. But Erin does it so masterfully, so seamlessly that you are lost in the story. And that my friends is what a good dream story is all about.. Loosing yourself in the dream. Finding the power to reclaim reality is never easy.
This was just a powerful ending to a powerful series. I suggest you check it out, just don't start here. Start in the beginning and fall in love like I did.

This review is based on the ARC of Scrape, provided by the author for an honest review.
Finally! The long awaited conclusion to this rather riveting serial. I was beginning to despair that it would ever arrive.
When last I was “Darkside” there didn’t seem to be much hope that things would ever be able to work out at all for any of the intrepid characters of this harrowing story. Things were looking very dire in deed.
But, as with most stories that come under the “romance” genre in general, and “fantasy” in particular, things miraculously work out somehow. After all the twists and turns that happened throughout this serial, it was amazing how everything worked out. Some were nowhere near what one would expect, but were actually rather interesting and satisfying resolutions.
In spite of the fact that this was most definitely a serial, and I have a distinct distaste for serials, Reveler kept me interested and coming back with each new installment. I am glad I stayed with it until the mostly satisfying ending.
I say “mostly” because I had the feeling of things being too pat. Almost abrupt in the resolutions. Although each of the couples reached relatively satisfying resolutions, I was still left with the feeling of things being unfinished. Maybe it is the nature of the serial. Or maybe I just had greater expectations. *shrugs* Or, is the author planning a spin off or two? Who knows?
I enjoyed “Reveling” and am almost sad to see it end. I think it will stay with me a while. It has left me with things to think about.
I received an ARC copy of this title for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated in any way for this review. All conclusions are my own opinions and responsibility.

Wow - what a great finale to this series. It absolutely must be read from start to finish or you will not appreciate all of the intricate characters we have met along the way. I love these couples to bits.
This last story meets up with all the couples in the various degrees of trouble they are all in. At the end of the last book, we saw the sandman rise and destroy on of everyone's favorite characters. Have no fear, though, because this story has more twists and turns than you could ever imagine. All the big bads come out of the woodwork in one form or another and all the heroes get ample time to act, well, heroic. Vince is his usual quirky self, Mirren is a bit uptight still, Malcolm is willing to risk himself for perfect strangers, and Jordan is determined to hold her family (both blood and otherwise) together. Harlen finds himself in a unique position of somehow being the most senior and least compromised part of a system that used to keep the revelers safe. Now he's all alone trying to save who he can while hoping his friends are still alive and out there.
All of these stories had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see how this installment ended. If you've been with this series from the beginning, you will not be disappointed (except that it's over!). Oh, and if you don't already love the "wild child" of this story, you will now.
This is the last book in the Reveler series and it is a fast-paced and intense story. There are all the loose threads of the overall story arc, as well as the individual threads of the characters, that all need to be tied up for a satisfying conclusion. There is enough action to keep any wannabe hero intrigued, whilst the romance part shifts to a deeper level. There are no new insta-lust attractions in this book, just the continuation of previous ones that benefit all the more from them having time together.
Scrape packs in so many emotions, I think I went through all of them whilst reading this story. The one that comes across loudest for me though, was family. All of the characters now think of themselves as one family, and that only makes them stronger when adversity is facing them.
I am going to miss this series and the world of darksight, reves, and Chimera. I think Erin Kellison has done an amazing job and now I will have the pleasure of reading them all again. If you like a paranormal world that is a little bit different from vampires and shifters, then I can highly recommend the Reveler Series. Start at book one and lose yourself in the dream.

Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books! Sep 16, 2015
I couldn’t wait to read Reveler 08 – Scrape by Erin Kellison. Even knowing it is the last of this series, I knew it will be okay, there are still the dragons to come. Not in this book but in the new series that Ms. Kellison has going now.
Now back to this story. The end of Reveler 07 - The Sandman left many of my favorite characters in dire straits and the waking world in turmoil. I will not give any spoilers but will say the good guys win in the end. There are many surprises and twists along the way in the battle between good and evil. Also a lesson to be learned as the suspected identity of the Sandman comes to light.
This is not the book to pick up first since the suspenseful plot builds as the big overall story progresses. This book also has no new characters but all the characters from the previous books have a part in the final battle. The first book, Darkness Falls was free as of the writing of this review. Start there, you will be hooked on one of the most original fantasy stories. I do not know Erin Kellison except through her work but think that this is an incredible creative writer. I would buy any book that bore her name after reading the Reveler series.
I tried to stretch this one out as long as I could but before I knew it I was at the end. This author author has kept me captivated from beginning to end with scenarios that were different. So the unthinkable has happened and The Sandman is out in the waking and has to be stopped. As this is planned and to be accomplished you get to touch bases with all the ones you know. As loose ends are tied up and they need to take back control, your favorite characters will provide one last time the thrill and blood pumping adventure as they do it. The couples will need to stay strong and the dirt swept up so to speek that is left behind The Sandman's havoc. The traitors must be taken care of with that one leading the way-Harlen. Many are stranded or lost in the Scrape but they still will all do what they must. Not really knowing what to expect in a wrap up I must say that no one is left out, you are not left in the dark. She wind it up pretty clearly with everyone getting some type of appearance for the reader which I love when a author does that which is getting few and far between. Most of the outcomes will be good but I do wish for one couple one that could of been different but at least they do have one.
A quick and fun read the final book in the Reveler series is an action packed story to end the series. I will say that I didn't exactly like how it ended while every couple has a clear path for their relationship it just seemed like there was more of story to tell for some. I'm sorry that it ended and I did love all the stories but still wonder what happens with Steve and Maisie, it's clear that her sister Jordan and Rook have a plan and even Mirren and Vince, but I can't help but feel that Sara and Harlen kind of got jipped a bit and that Steve and Maisie have more of a story to tell also. I was thrilled that of course the bad guys lost and while they are still hunting down bad guys things seem to be on the mend. There were some definite twists that I totally did not see coming and were brilliant and while I was disappointed with some of the endings it was still a very good read that keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat. Among the twists and turns are eventually how the Sandman meets his demise, just when you think it's done it's really not. David has a few surprises in him as well as Steve, Jordan, Vince and even Harlen. Definitely a must read especially if you have read the entire series. Copy gifted in exchange for an honest review.
The final book of the Reveler series did not let me done - it was fantastic! This is not a stand alone book and cannot really be understood without reading the entire series in order but it's well worth it.
In the final book the darkside is in chaos. Nightmares are attacking the dreamers and they can't wake themselves up. The Sandman has invaded the waking world by assuming a human body and is rampaging through the city. Favorite characters are in serious danger and the good guys are seriously out numbered. All of the previous characters are in for the fight of their lives in this final installment and it kept me on the edge of my seat wondering how they could possibly fight back the Sandman, the Oneiros and the nightmares.
There was a ton of action and suspense along with some romance. This is a wonderful series with interesting world building and a story that hasn't been told before. I enjoyed the characters and their struggles and I'm sad to see the series end.
If you're looking for something different and engaging with a lot of action and some romance then check out the Reveler series but start at book 1.
This is the final instalment in the Reveler series and I am torn between being sad that it has ended and being happy that I finally know what happens.
Although I loved how this one ended, I didn't love what the characters had to go through to get us there. It stayed true to the other books in the series and gave us a satisfactory conclusion.
If you are looking for some fluffy pnr then this isn't the series for you, however if you love getting into something darker and grittier with a complex plot and twists aplenty then I would seriously consider picking up the Reveler series.
I wholeheartedly recommend reading every single book in this series, it is not one that you can pick up book 6 or 7 and understand what is going on, you need the world building from the previous books and the development of the overall story arc to get the full enjoyment of it.
This book is what all the books in the series led up to. Some of it I figured on but others were a suprise. All of our friends get involved in this book and it's fast paced excitement from beginning to end.The Dreamscapes are all falling to the Nightmares and the Sandman is in the real world. They have to get him back into the Scrape so they all have to find their courage and do what needs to be done. Some go back to the waking world to find him and others to protect the loved ones. Koll goes to the Dreamscapes to see his love and await the Sandman. I am sorry to see this series end but who knows maybe will go on in a different direction. I loved this series and look forward to reading more of her books.
If you have read the other books in this series, this book picks right up where it left off. Erin does not disappoint in this final suspenseful chapter. There are plenty of twists and turns you are not expecting and is a must read and a satisfying conclusion. I can only hope there are additional spin-offs to this series as I don’t think we’ve yet explored all there is Darkside. As with all series, my only complaint is that the story has come to an end. If you haven’t read all the books in this series, I highly recommend you start from the beginning. You’ll be hooked from the 1st chapter. The premise behind the books is one of the most unique I’ve read in many years and has just the right balance of love interest/mystery to keep you turning the pages and losing sleep.
Jordan, Rook, Coll, Maisie and all the others are back for one last round with The Sandman. After losing his corporeal body Steve rescues the stragglers from the black market in Maisie's dreamscape. Meanwhile, Jordan and Rook are trying to find the others in the waking world. All Hell has broken loose in the Agora and Harlen has to scramble to protect the innocent revelers in the Reve's there. Can everyone possibly survive when the Agora and Maze City are under attack?
This is the last book in this series, so expect lots of surprising twists and fantastic feats of magic.
