Jordy has wanted a dog all of his life, but his parents say he is too young for such a big responsibility.
One day, Jordy meets Flash, a super smart, black and white border collie with one blue eye and one brown eye. Flash does many tricks and even jumps in his owners arms - he's the perfect dog. Jordy is determined to get a dog just like him, but, not only does he have to prove that he's responsible enough to take care of a dog, but he also has to come up with the cash.
Frowny old Mr. Fraser hires Jordy to mow his lawn. It looks like Jordy will earn the money to get his border collie after all . . . or will he?
See what happens when Jordy has to be a hero and Mr. Fraser's ugly, white dog is the prize.
My youngest grandkids have a dog, her name is Lollie, that looks just like Ani. I can’t wait to read this to them, so they review the responsibilities and hopefully get excited about the training.
This may have. begun to look like one ugly white dog but he became even more...
WOW! What a super dog story and how Ani and Jordy came to meet and become a partnership with each other. And wonderful pictures too. I recommend this for any age dog loving reader and because I thought it was such a sweet, touching story and a very clean reads one too this is why I am giving it five stars. I Received this ebook for free and in return for being able to read this I have now given it an honest review. Great work Karen! By Angela
A great story of a boy and his first dog. It is a tale of love and devotion between a family and a dog. Shows how animals are an important part of healing for the elderly in our nursing homes. A very good read aloud for librarians looking for a good book for kids.
A very good choice for a read aloud book for kids by library staff. Good story well told. Best read.
This is a kids story about an ugly duckling sort of dog. A very sweet little story, I think 8 to 10 year olds would like. It also tells them not to judge things people or animals solely by appearance!
That is really all there is to say. It is kinda like a mix of everything all in one. It has situations that we can all relate too. It is an amazing book and I totally recommend it!
